Open-pit mining is the large open-air production systems based on power shovel excavation and trucking transportation,it is a continuous technology process of mutual connection with shell,mining and discharging,which is essentially the process of dynamic change of the open stope 3D geospatial information in time dimension,it means dynamic evolution process of the time and space of open-pit mine system.Road network as the basic geographic information of the open pit mine system,it is the foundation of the whole time and space dynamic evolution of mine system,there is important reference value for the analysis of open-pit mine's time and space dynamic evolution.Open-pit mine road can be divided into fixed roads,half fixed,mobile road and temporary road from length of update cycle.As the respectively continuous moving of excavators and displacement steps because of exploiting and exhaust discharging,moving roads are changing gradually,but the road network cannot be timely updated,which is the frequently limitation problems faced by most open pit mine in China.For above problems,paper studies the method based on GPS to identify new roads,unchanged roads and abandoned roads from road networks of open-pit by using spatial database technology,and this method is applied to the guidance of mine production.First of all,there are a large amount of accumulated data of truck and excavator GPS in open-pit mine truck dispatching system,the data is the basis of identifying update,how to unify and efficient management are the keys.This paper,based on the analysis of constitution of open-pit mine road network and data acquisition,using space database technology to establish open pit mine road network spatial database,and this paper uses the layer management pattern to manage data,and then the 2D displaying of open-pit mine road network and data management are realized;Using GIS buffer analysis technique and overlay analysis techniques to put forward road recognition algorithm,realizing identification of the changing roads from road network and provide technical support for road networks update.
