At present,the National Meteorological Bureau chooses optical raindrop spectrometer to detect raindrop spectrum and do various weather phenomena.The study of raindrop spectrum reflects the microphysical process of precipitation and is conducive to revealing the precipitation mechanism of clouds[1].Therefore,the instrument calibration for detecting raindrop spectrum is of great significance.However,the laboratory calibration of the optical raindrop spectrometer has always lacked an effective method.This paper addresses the problem that traditional standard instruments used for the verification of tipping rain gauges cannot detect and calibrate the optical raindrop spectrometer,and uses glass globes similar in nature to raindrops.The method of letting it fall freely simulates the precipitation particles,but it is difficult to accurately control the falling speed.A laser raindrop spectrometer automatic detection system is designed.Through a host computer to input a set of designated parameters,automatic detection and determination of the laser raindrops spectrometer measurement of the indicators are qualified,and ultimately displayed in the form of data reports on the host computer interface.The system adjusts the speed of the simulated particles through the controllable speed disc.At the same time,the speed measurement module is designed to measure the real-time rotation speed of the disc,and the closed-loop control is realized.The method of simulating the particle size is affixed with patches of different diameters on the disc.It can accurately simulate the size of the precipitation particles and the requirements of controllable descent speed.It can test the effect of optical raindrop spectrograph on the velocity and scale of precipitation particles.The detection system uses a 32-bit ARM microprocessor STM32 as the control core,an embedded real-time operating system UCOS? as the software platform,and a C language in the KEIL5 environment for lower-level computer program design,and uses the C#language in the VS2012 compilation environment.The design of the upper computer program.The system has been verified through specific engineering tests,indicating that all performance and function indexes have basically reached the initial design requirements,and a laser raindrop spectrometer automatic detection system has been successfully designed.The method and equipment are provided for measuring and calibrating the detection performance of the laser raindrop spectrometer,and at the same time,the realization of automated measurement greatly saves manpower.
