In recent years,there has been a new research direction in the application of chaos,which is to use the inherent dynamic behaviors of chaotic systems to achieve chaos calculations.In the chaotic system,by slightly changing the values of some parameters,the conversion between logical calculations can be easily realized.Based on the chaotic system of the vertical cavity surface emitting laser,it can induce high-dimensional nonlinear polarization dynamics under perturbation of external conditions,such as light injection or optical feedback,which is conducive to the realization of reconfigurable dynamic all-optical chaotic logic calculation.In the process of performing reconfigurable logic computing,many basic scientific problems need to be solved.In order to break through these problems,we mainly do the following research work:(1)In a chaotic system of VCSEL with external optical-injection,under different key parameters,such as the bias current,the injection strength and the frequency detuning of the injected light field and the VCSEL,also we explore the evolutions of the polarization-bistability with the amplitude of the injected light field when the output of VCSEL is chaotic wave.Based on the dynamic evolutions,we consider the frequency detuning as the control logic signal,and further implement different all optical chaotic logic operations,such as AND,NAND,OR,NOR,XOR and XNOR,by controlling the logic operation of the control logic signal between two logic inputs.Moreover,the ability to reconstruct these logic operations is demonstrated under relatively low noise strength of the spontaneous emission.This part of work is finished in chapter 3.(2)In the drive-response chaotic system consisting of master-slave VCSELs,we first calculate the synchronization coefficient of polarization components emitted from M-VCSEL and S-VCSEL when the polarization components are in chaotic state,under parameters space of external electric field and optical feedback coefficient(light injection coefficient).Based on the dynamic synchronization coefficient graph of polarization components emitted from M-VCSEL and S-VCSEL,we consider the applied electric field as the control logic signal.By controlling the logic operations between the two logic inputs and the control logic signals,we further implement different all-optical chaotic logic operations,such as AND,NAND,OR,NOR,XNOR,XOR.And based on complete chaos synchronization,we also explore their delay storage.Meanwhile,we also show the reconfigurable ability of these logic operations.These part of the works are finished inchapter 4.
