Hainan sub-sag is the main oil source sub-sag around the west area of Liaohe offshore, which has rich petroleum geology resources more than 3 million tons.At present, only about 1.2 million tons of petroleum geology are found in the positive structural units on both sides of the east and west, the amount of resources to be explored is large. The previous exploration was mainly composed of tectonic oil and gas reservoirs, with the deepening of research, the focus of work shifted from structural reservoir to lithologic reservoir exploration. In the near future,j325 well in northern of sub-sag and jial607 well in the west of sub-sag as the rolling exploration well all get breakthrough in the field of lithologic hydrocarbon reservoirs, the success of these two wells also illustrates the lithologic reservoir has great exploration potential around the sub-sag.From the present research knowledge, there are conditions for forming lithologic reservoirs in the work area. And previous study of lithologic reservoir main problems from two aspects,on the one hand, the research unit, sand scale and the distribution regularity of understanding is not clear. On the other hand, study area has various types of lithology combination and different lithology combination tend to have similar seismic reflection characteristics, multiple solution caused the seismic prediction. This article will start from these two aspects, through the establishment of the high accuracy sequence stratigraphy framework, guided by the geological understanding in the area, with the qualitative forecast and quantitative lithofacies boundary prediction distribution of sand body as the main technical means, the combination of summed up the effective reservoir prediction methods,so as to guide the exploration and production work.
