In recent years,with the rapid development of science and technology,people's living standard has been improved rapidly.Various projects are increasing day by day.Mud plays an important role in the construction of geotechnica lengineering.But it is also accompanied by the production of a large amount of waste mud,which is partly used and partly abandoned.In order to save the resources and protect the environment,it is urgent to seek a reasonable disposal to deal with the engineering mud.This paper is aimed at engineering mud.With the use of the curing agent for cement and the curing agent for cement-silicon(40:10),the mud is solidified in the unconfined compressive strength test.We observe and study the mud solidified soil strength characteristics.At the same time,based on the actual project cases,we use MIDAS for numerical simulation and compare soil-cement mixing pile to mud solidified soil pile.Lastly,we analysis the simulation results and come to the conclusion that the mud solidified soil has availability.The main research contents and conclusions are as follows:1.The curing agent for cement and the curing agent for cement-silicon(40:10)were used respectively to curing the engineering mud with the dosage ratio of 10%,15% and 20%.Through indoor unconfined compressive strength test,we that which kind of curing agent is the more optimal and which dosage ratio is the best.Finally,the curing effect of cement-silica powder(40:10)is better than the curing agent of cement.Among them,curing agent cement-silica powder(40:10)has the best curing effect when the dosage ratio is 15%.2.By analyzing these test data,we make unconfined compressive strength of the cement stabilized soil and cement-mud solidified soil fit.Then we get engineering mud solidified soil unconfined compressive strength prediction formula.The correlation coefficient of each prediction formula is about 0.98,and indicating that the formula fitting degree is better and the prediction results are reliable.3.In view of the bentonite mud and,based on the engineering example and the curing agent cement-silica powder(40:10)when curing soil,we use MIDAS to establish finite element model and analyze the mud solidified soil pile and cement-soil mixing pile foundation treatment effect.Lastly,we draw out that the mud solidified soil has availability and provide theoretical basis for the foundation treatment of bentonite.
