Zircon dating is a way to determine the age of rocks.In the past,zircon dating method was mainly applied to solid mining,and in recent years,it has been gradually applied to oil mining.When different parent rocks are divisible in the age,the source of the source can be distinguished by zircon dating,so as to determine the source direction of the source.Based on this method,two methods can be used for comparison.The first is the comparison between sedimentary area and parent rock,the relationship between material source and sedimentary rock can be directly determined,and the source direction can be determined.Additionally one kind is when there is no parent rock information under the condition of sediment of contrast,by comparing the zircon age differences in sediment,determine the partition of sediment,and the deposits are classified into different provenance system.This article applies the method of zircon dating reservoir in bohai oilfield in bohai east area of zircon age was tested,and discusses the principle and process of zircon dating in detail,and research in bohai sea east area as an example,the tested samples in 6 Wells,based on the 600 dot the grains data,using the measured data,calculate the parent rock of the zircon age in the block.Finally,550 effective test data were obtained by analyzing the age harmony and spectrum of 6 samples.Combined with the characteristics of zircon morphology and age distribution,the results show that the age of zircon samples in this area is mainly concentrated in Mesozoic and the time limit is mainly 110-130 ma.The age distribution can be divided into two types.The age distribution of the first type is complex,mainly distributed in the Jurassic and cretaceous periods.The other kind of age distribution is relatively simple,mainly in the cretaceous period.Combining with the analysis of the predecessors' research data and zircon dating data,through to the peripheral parent rock characteristics and characteristics of zircon content source instructions and can more precisely define bohai region east limited time limit is between 26.3 Ma Ma-348.Finally,the distribution characteristics of paleogeomorphology and paleodrainage system are verified.The zircon dating method,combined with the reasonable comparison method of regional geological time,is of certain guiding significance to the space-time evolution law of geological events and the distribution of material sources.
