The Discovery And Prospecting Of FUYE Skarn Copper Mineralization In The West Part Of The BANGONG LAK-NUJIANG RIVIER Metallogentic Belt

The study area is located in the western-north part of the Bangong Lake-Nujiang River Cu-polymetallic metallogenic belt(?),the Zapp-Duobuza iron-copper-gold metallogenic sub-zone(?).In the process of regional geological survey in Fuye area,it is the first time to find Fuye skarn type copper-silver polymetallic mineral.We make a detailed stratigraphic division in Fuye area by geological mapping and profile measurement,which is P1q,P1-2t,P2lg,P2-3j,K1o and N1k.P2lg is the controlling strata of Fuye copper-silver polymetallic mineral.The tonalite is the controlling magmatite of Fuye copper-silver polymetallic mineral,whose petrogeochemistry is rich potassium,poor calcium,high alkalinity,LREE enrichment,HREE depletion,LA-ICP-MS zircon U-Pb age of 111.7+1.7 Ma,formed in island arc edge at the early Cretaceous-at the tectonic background of BANGONGHU-NUJIANGJIANG OCEAN subduction northward.The stratum of Fuye copper-silver polymetallic mineral is P1-2t and P2lg.Pi-2t is a clastic rock formation,with a little of hornfelsed at the contact zone of magmatite.P2lg is Carbonate construction,most of them is griotte.The magmatic rocks exposed in the mining area are quartz diorite and granodiorite porphyrite.A total of 2 copper and silver ore bodies,3 mineralization bodies were found in the mining area,The length is 80?140 meters and the width is 2?18 meters,mainly in the skarn at the outer contact zone of the quartz diorite and P2lg.Ore minerals are pyrite,magnetite,limonite,malachite,chalcopyrite,bornite,chalcocite,sphalerite,galena,gold and silver minerals.We make a mineralogical study of Fuye copper-silver polymetallic mineral,the mineral of skarn is hessonite and malacolite.And wollastonite,epidote,epidote,chlorite,quartz,laboite,Plagioclase,sillimanite,gold mica etc..are seen too.Fuye copper-silver polymetallic mineral is located in the north side of the Bangonghu-Nujiang metallogenic belt,and formed at the geological background of two-way closed subduction of BANGONGHU-NUJIANGOCEAN at early Cretaceous,The same with the GAERQIONG and GALALE skarn type copper-gold deposit,which is on the south side.Based on the comprehensive study of regional Fuye geological characteristics,Fuye copper-silver polymetallic mineral geological features and the geochemical characteristics of tonalite at Stage of Yanshan,by force of contrast of them,it is considered that the Fuye area has a great potential for searching for the skarn copper deposits related to the late Yanshan quartz diorite.
