Debris flow is one of the geological disasters widely occurrs in hill of China.Debris flow has the characterristics of wide distribution and large quantity,which become a worldwide geological disaster,and it has caused widespread concern.The mountainous area accounts for about two-thirds of chinese surface area.Therefore,debris flow is widely developed in mountainous areas of China,so our country is one of countries affected by the debris flow disaster.The research on hazard assessment of debris flow disaster have great practical significance in China.In this paper,a detailed field geological survey was carried out in the Baijin gully debris flow in jilin province.On the basis of this,the hazard assessment of the Baijin gully was studied.It is hoped that the development characteristics of the Baijin gully and its influence on the surrounding environment will be recognized.In order to correctly evaluate the hazard of the flow in the Baijin gully,we conducted field geological survey and necessary laboratory tests.The original geological condition(such as Formation lithology,topography,meteorology hydrology,geological structure,human engineering activities,and so on),development characteristics,genetic mechanism of the Baijin gully was investigated in detail.Moreover,the mechanical characteristic parameters such as activity intensity,regional activity,flow velocity,flow rate,impact force were calculated.And adopted the screening method to determine the type of debris flow in history,and the density of the debris flow is determined by the matching method and the standard table method.In debris flow risk assessment process,there are many factors affecting the cause of debris flow,so in this paper,the system of influence factors of debris flow hazard evaluation is optimized by grey correlation method.And the weight of each factor was empowered by the analytic hierarchy process.The hazard assessment of debris flow was carried out by using extenics method.The research method used in this paper provides a very important reference for the prevention and treatment of Baijin gully in the future.And it shows that the results of the hazard assessment of the Baijin gully debris flow are consistent with field investigation,so this method has high credibility.
