In China,left-handed metamaterial is referred to as metamaterials.It is hot research direction both at home and abroad.In particular,research and applications of metamaterials(MMs)has become more mature in recent years,more and more researchers have paid attention to the study of metamaterials.Research topics cover a wide range of topics,from microwave frequencies to light spectrum,from the antenna to application of Invisibility cloak,from one-dimensional structure to three-dimensional structure,etc.With the increasing social demand,the research of electromagnetic unidirectional radiation attracts many people's attention,especially in the application of producing high-power laser and improving the optical detection technology more and more.In this dissertation,based on the Maxwell equations and constitutive equations of basic electromagnetism,we design asymmetric magnetoelectric coupling biaxial MMs by using open-ended resonant rings(SRRs),and use this metamaterial to realize electromagnetic wave Asymmetric radiation and planar waveguide.The main content of this article is as follows:1?Firstly,the research background,significance and research status of metamaterials are described in detail.The singular electromagnetic characteristics of metamaterials are briefly described.And we described two methods first proposed by Pendry to realize the equivalent negative permeability and the equivalent negative permittivity manually.Because other structures of metamaterials can derive both structures.2?The principle of the inversion of new parameters cited is briefly introduced,and the concept of asymmetrical space-time inversion is introduced.Bianisotropic metamaterials are asymmetric under the conditions of time-space inversion,that is,the magnetoelectric coupling coefficients in their constitutive relations are spatially asymmetric.3?A magnetoelectric coupled bianisotropic metamaterial and its applications are presented: A single split-ring resonator(SRR)array of periodic array structure.First,the S-parameters and the forbidden band of the structure are simulated,and the equivalent electromagnetic parameters are extracted according to their S-parameters.Two identical structures are placed symmetrically,and the overall structure is simulated to find the propagation of electromagnetic waves in the plane.At last,the reason of the analysis is deduced theoretically,and verified by experiments.The results are compared with the simulation results and the errors are analyzed.4?A further application of the above structure is proposed.Firstly,the asymmetry of biaxial anisotropic MMs structures is expounded theoretically,and then the C parameters are simulated by CST,and its equivalent electromagnetic parameters are extracted by parameter inversion.Based on this asymmetry,the electromagnetic wave is not realized Symmetrical radiation,simulation and experimental verification.
