The Sichuan Basin is a sedimentary basin which is formed on the basis of the above Yangtze Craton..The basin lies on the Mediterranean-Himalayan tropics and forms a lot of geothermal resources. Most of them are developed and used in the form of hot water, and are mainly exposed by well drilling.South Sichuan is located in the southwestern part of the Sichuan Basin. From the end of the Indosinian epoch, the region received a strong tectonic movement until the end of the Himalayan period, forming the structural pattern of the low-steep fold belt in the south of Sichuan Province. It has been successfully developed in these areas.,such as JianweiXiaogu Hot Spring,Guandoushan Hot Spring, and Junlianxunsi Hot Spring. This paper takes Shuanghechang Hot Spring in Gao County of Yibin City as the research object, and explains the formation of the Shuanghechang anticline through field geological surveys and 2D seismic profiles. In combination with the conditions for the formation of groundwater,it collects nearby drilling test water production data and determines the main horizon of hot spring development to analyze the water chemistry features of the water layer, and finally to analyze the causes of the Shuanghe Hot Springs in combination with regional geological conditions and typical hot springs. The main understanding is as follows:(1)The Shuanghechang area is located at the intersection of the East-West Emei-Yibin base fault zone and the North East Huayingshan basement fault zone, forming a northeast-facing short-axis anticline. In this area,a reverse fault in the Middle Ordovician-Lower Triassic strata develops in the deep, tending to the northwest direction and controlling the formation of anticlines.(2)Through hydrogeological analysis, there are mainly two sets of aquifers in this area, namely carbonate rocks of the Jialingjiang Formation in the Middle-Lower Triassic and carbonate rocks of the Maokou Formation in the Middle-Lower Permian. Moreover, the water volume of the Maokou Formation is greater than that of the Jialingjiang Formation, which is more suitable as the main water layer for the development of hot springs by the comparison of drilling data.(3)Analyze the genetic models of the surrounding developed hot springs, which are mainly carbonate-type hot springs on the edge of the basin. They have the characteristics of far-reaching replenishment,long-distance transport, and deep circulation. They are generally formed by breaking the fracture site or drilling the surface to form a complete groundwater circulation system.Shuanghechang Hot Springs falls within the control of this genetic type.(4)Through regional geological conditions and hydrogeological analysis,it is considered that the most favorable water source in the Maokou Formation is the Wujiaobao area which is in the west of the Shuanghechang area, and the Gongxian anticline in the east..The elevation is high, and the Maokou Formation exposes a large amount of limestone, which is conducive to accept atmospheric precipitation supply.
