As an old saying goes:"Good seedling is half of the valley,good topic is half of the article".That is,a good topic is equal to half of the success.The topic of the thesis is the beginning of the thesis writing.It is also an important index to affect the quality of the paper.Therefore,it is of great theoretical and practical significance to analyze the topic of the degree thesis of the graduate student of Mathematics Education.In this paper,Master's degree thesis,searched from China Zhiwang of five normal universities,which are directly under the Ministry of Education(the data collection of Beijing normal University is too small.So we give up the research object),is seen as the full text database,and the time is from 2008 to 2017.We mainly use the methods of literature,content analysis,statistical analysis and questionnaire to study and discuss the questions.Through annual statistics on the number of papers,regional research statistics,research methods statistics,research content statistics,research section statistics,this paper analyzes the problems existing in the topic selection of master's degree thesis in mathematics education in the past ten years:(1)the distribution of selected topics is not balanced;(2)part of the repetitive topics are selected;(3)there are more topics on students than the teachers;(4)the topics pay more emphasis on the teaching strategies than the teaching objectives;(5)the topics evade the crucial points.Finally,through the questionnaire survey of 2018th full-time graduate students of mathematics education in five normal universities of the Ministry of Education,this paper finds out the factors that affect the topic of master's thesis of mathematics education,and the investigation shows that(1)the self ability is the most important factor;(2)reflection on educational practice,advantages of oneself,tutors and management of training units are also the important factors.
