The Huayuan copper deposit is located in the northern margin of the Kashi depression in the southwest margin of the Tarim Basin.Few researches have been done on garden copper mine,and few published papers have been published.Through the study of the mineral composition,structure,structure and symbiotic combination of the Huayuan copper deposit,the genetic mineralogy of the study area is discussed deeply,and the mineral transformation law of the oxid ation zone and the primary zone is discussed,which lays the foundation for the study of the genesis of the study area.The main results are as follows:(1)The ore in the Huayuan sandstone type copper deposit has high oxidation degree and the main mineral is chalcopyrite.(2)The interstitials in ore bearing rock and lithic sandstone are cemented and matrix.The cementation shows the structure of crypto crystalline,and the matrix is mostly clay mineral.The cementation type of lithic sandstone is mainly basal cementation.A few are cementing and filling cementation.The interstitials in ore bearing rock and lithic sandstone are cemented and matrix.The cemen tation shows the structure of crypto crystalline,and the matrix is mostly clay mineral.The cementation type of lithic sandstone is mainly basal cementation.A few are cementing and filling cementation.The copper deposit has its shape,erosion structure,cementation structure,metasomatism network structure,metasomatic pseudo image structure,fine pulse structure,metasomatism edge structure and metasomatism residual structure,among which malachite is inhomogeneity.According to the metasomatism and interpenetration of minerals,it is concluded that the order of copper minerals in the garden copper deposit is from malachite to cuprite and atacamite.(3)The aggregate morphology of atacamite ore can be divided into 3 types: coarse grainy,colloidal and veined;and the cemented carbide of the metasomatic sandstone of red copper mine has a net like structure or no obvious structure.(4)The structure of atacamite ore is different,and the content of Cl is different.The content of Cl in coarsely granular atacamite ore is higher than that in Cl.Atacamite ore contains C elements,indicating that malachite is adulterated in atacamite.(5)The content of Cl in atacamite at Huayuan copper mine is higher than that in other areas by comparison with the copper deposits in different regions.It is presumed that the types of copper deposits may be the result of different types of copper deposits.(6)It is presumed that the genesis of the atacamite is that the copper brine is migrated along the sandstone fracture under the action of high temperature,less rain and very strong oxidation,and the malachite is reacted with the aqueous solution containing chloride ions and finally formend by metasomatism of the cuprite.
