In this paper,the magnetic gradient tensor theory,point dipoles,line dipoles,spheres and regular cuboid magnetic gradient tensor formulas are briefly introduced;the forward and magnetic gradient tensors of the magnetic gradient elements of the model are performed.The characteristics of the element were further studied,and it was found that the magnetic gradient tensor has nine elements,of which only five tensor elements are independent and the plane contour map has different characteristics;The above content is also the theoretical basis for this study.This paper proposes a new boundary recognition method based on the deep analysis of the methods of delineating the boundary based on the magnetic gradient tensor elements according to previous data:analytic signal,horizontal gradient mode,Tilt gradient,Theta and so on.Horizontal differential method.Through the establishment of different regular cuboid modal shapes,the model forwards are implemented for the above five methods,and the characteristics of each method and its ability to delineate boundaries are studied.In order to get the magnetic gradient tensor data on the boundary of the actual data del ineation ability.This paper deals with the magnetic data of a certain area,converts the mea sured magnetic anomaly data into magnetic gradient tensor data,and extends the survey ar ea data to study the magnetic tensor element characteristics of the actual survey area.Finall y,the tensor elements of the survey area are processed by using the analytical signal,horiz ontal gradient mode,Tilt gradient,Theta diagram and the horizontal direction differential method proposed in this paper.The position of the ore body is located,the boundary of the ore body in the survey area and the fault zone in the survey area are identified.According to the data processing of the survey area,it is found that the Bxyy and Byxx plane contour map features in the converted magnetic gradient tensor elements are consistent,the Bxzz and Bzxx plane contour map in the converted magnetic gradient tensor elements are consistent,the Byzz and Bzyy plane contour map in the converted magnetic gradient tensor elements are consistent.Verify magnetic gradient tensor elements only five independent elements;There are two large faults and one smaller fault in the area where the ore body locates and identifies the boundary of the ore body in the survey area.Four ore bodies in the survey area are distributed on the fault zone.The horizontal direction differential method is better for delineating the boundaries of larger ore bodies in the survey area...
