Due to the orbital angular momentum of the vortex electromagnetic wave,the information modulation can be added to the new dimension.It has unique advantages in the field of information transmission and acquisition,and has a wide range of application prospects.As a new type of planar phase shifting structure,the phase shift surface can be used to realize the spiral phase plate,which can be used in the generation of electromagnetic wave.In this paper,the PSS structure is analyzed firstly.The equivalent circuit model of the PSS is established according to the rules of electromagnetic and relationship between the parameters of the circuit and structure model is also established,which provides theoretical guidance for the design of PSS unit.In addition,due to the phase shift range is an important indicator,the phase shift range of the PSS is analyzed,and the theoretical analysis and simulation results are given.On the basis of the analysis of the equivalent circuit,the general design method of the PSS is proposed,and the integrated design procedure and method of the PSS are presented.And the structural parameters of the PSS are designed by using the formula method and the parameter extraction method respectively.Starting from the initial value of the equivalent circuit method,the design of the PSS unit is realized by the electromagnetic simulation and optimization,and the optimization method of the PSS is provided.Based on the above analysis and design,the directivity enhancement technology of horn antenna is studied.According to the directional enhancement scheme,a simple PSS element is designed,and the transmission characteristics of the unit are verified by simulation.By using the method of partition design,the design of the array on the PSS is carried out,and the array simulation is carried out.At the end of the paper,the method of generating the electromagnetic wave of the "large aperture horn plus rotating phase plate" is put forward.On the basis of the realization scheme,the PSS unit is designed.The cell structure of annular groove and UC-PBG coupling is proposed,and the three layer structure is used to realize 360 degree phase shift.Subsequently,the calculation method of phase shift and design method of the array are given.In this paper,the PSS of vortex electromagnetic wave is proposed,which has the advantages of low profile,small volume and light weight,which can solve the disadvantages of the previous structure,such as the number of layers and the loss of the corresponding structure.Finally,the electromagnetic simulation is carried out,and the results of near field phase distribution are obtained.
