Geological Characteristics And Ore-prospecting Direction Of Tian Wang Taishan Gold Deposit In Huma County,Heilongjiang Province

Tianwangtaishan gold deposit is located in the Guliku-Huma volcanic basin of Daxing'anling volcanic active belt,and in the middle-late Yanshanian Pankaimen-Guliku gold metallogenic subbelt.The Mesozoic tectonic-volcanism in this area was intensive and played favorable metallogenic geological conditions for endogenetic metallic deposits.On the basis of field geological mapping,geological cataloging of such exploration engineering as drill hole,trench exploration,tunnel,as well as comprehensive study of existing geological data,the metallogenesis of Tianwangtaishan gold deposit in Huma County,Heilongjiang Province has been analyzed from the aspects of geological structure,stratigraphic lithology,mineralization and alteration.The ore-prospecting direction and potential in the area are also systematically studied.The gold mineralization bodies in the study area are mainly distributed in intermediate-acid volcanic rocks of the Early Cretaceous Guanghua Formation(Kign),which is the main wall rock and source bed for gold mineralization.The fault structure and volcanic structure are well developed in Tianwangtaishan gold deposit.The gold mineralization in the study area is closely related to the structure.Most of the ore bodies are located between two nearly S-N directing faults.Near-N-trending faults are important ore-controlling structures for the formation of gold deposits.Gold mineralization is mainly associated with pyritization and silicification alteration zones,followed by chloritization,epidoterization,sericitization,limonitization,kaolinization and other alteration zones,the stronger the alteration,the higher the gold grade.On the basis of systematic study of the geological characteristics and metallogenic conditions of the deposit,it is pointed out that the intermediate-acid volcanic rocks of the Guanghua Formation are favorable areas for prospecting,and that the south and west side of Tianwangtai Mountains have good prospecting potential.
