Ultra-wideband microwave refers to the working frequency is 300 MHZ-300 GHZ electromagnetic waves,since it has high resolution,strong penetrability,and the advantages of system is easy to build,gradually in the economic development and national defense security,and other fields to achieve a variety of applications,for example,based on the technology can realize electronic countermeasures,target detection,search and rescue,medical imaging,such as objective,the ruins of ultra-wideband technology application over the years has become a hot research topic.Ultra-wideband pulse radiation source can radiate microwave through pulse generation and modulation.In 2000,Shenyang Ligong University introduced ultra-wideband pulse radiation source(model sinus-160)from Russia,which USES tesla transformer to oscillate high-voltage pulse.The trigger pulse is manual single trigger mode,and the radiation antenna is TEM horn antenna.In order to improve some of the indicators and achieve the purpose of optimization and development,this paper mainly completed the following work:completed the analysis and selection of common uwb waveforms;Several common uwb pulse generation modes are analyzed.Based on Marx circuit principle,narrow pulse generator circuit unit is designed.ANSYS HFSS simulation software was used to design the radiation antenna and carry out modeling and simulation.The trigger power supply of uwb pulse radiation source is developed.The voltage and current measuring unit of uwb pulse radiation source is developed.After the completion of the above work and the original indicators of comparison and performance evaluation.The results show that the pulse width is less than Ins and the rising edge is a picosecond narrow pulse.The directional gain of the rectangular horn antenna is 21.25db,nearly twice the original gain index.The developed trigger power supply has adjustable amplitude and frequency,and can be used for high efficiency continuous trigger.The measuring unit can also perform relevant test functions.This study can provide the technical basis for the optimization of uwb pulse radiation source and has certain scientific research value for the related research.
