Campylobacter jejuniis one of the most important zoonotic pathogens around the world, which can cause diarrhea, fever and abdominal cramps, acute enteritis, and severe cases can lead to hepatitis and other serious complications even death, which is mostly found in the jejunum of poltry, wild birds, and like cattle, pigs and other livestock can also be infected.Human infection with Campylobacter jejuni is mainly due to ingestion of contaminated meat products, dairy products,or contact with pet.In Xinjiang, the beef and milk are the major food source of Campylobacter jejuni.Based on the existing data, there was no study on sources of Campylobacter bacteria in cattle of Xinjiang,In this study, the isolates of Campylobacter jejuni were isolated and identified in some areas of Xinjiang, and the drug resistance and partial virulence genes were detected. The prevalence and characteristics of Campylobacter jejuni were studied in some areas of Xinjiang. The prevention and treatment of the disease, the risk assessment and the pathogenesis of the study.(1)398 cow anus swabs were collected from Urumqi,Changji,Shihezi, and Yining,The swabsin Brucella Broth primary incubated then streakedon two kinds of selective medium cLture, improved CCD and Columbia blood agar, finally positive strains were identified by polymerase chain reaction(PCR).2 strains of Campylobacter jejuni(numbered N22,C25)separately isolated and identified from cattle farms in Urumqi and Changji, the detection rate was 1.11%(1/90)and 3.33%(1/30)respectively.There was no isolation of Campylobacter jejuni from Shehezi and Yining cattle farms.(2)According to the 2010 American Society of Clinical Laboratory Standards Institute(CLSI)recommends using the agar diffusion method for drug susceptibility testing,a total of 17 kinds of antibiotics. Two isolates were highly sensitive to monocyclic ?-lactam andaminoglycosides antibiotics and resistant to quinolones, macrocyclicand five kinds of cephalosporins antibiotics(3)Detection of 5 kinds of toxic genes,adhesion-related genes cadF,Peb1 A,racR;chemotaxis regulated genes cheY;invasion protein gene ima A.In addition to the iamA gene, the other four virulence genes were carried in the Changji isolate. In addition to the racR gene, the other four virulence genes were carried in the Urumqii isolate.(4)The results showed that there were 6 batches of beef samples of Campylobacter jejuni in 130 samples of beef, and the positive rate was 4.61 %(6/130).The results showed that there were 6 batches of beef samples isolated from beef samples from Kenya,Xinjiang,This study found the two strains of Campylobacter jejuni were highly sensitive to monocyclic beta lactam and aminoglycoside antibiotics. Two strains of Campylobacter jejuni were resistant to quinolones, macrocyclicand five kinds of cephalosporins antibiotics. Two isolates carry the main virulence genes. The positive rate of Campylobacter jejuni from beef in Urumqi was 4.61%,which was controlled at a low level.
