South Qiangtang is one of the most important geological unit and polymetallic metallogenic belt of Tibet.IWith development of geological survey in recent year, many deposit of Fe,Cu,W and Au have been newly discovered in the central part of the South Qiangtang, such as Duobuza,Qingcaoshan,Fuoye,Zhapu,Aru Village, and Tongzeng deposit. There are more than twenty deposits(or occurrences),that shows good prospecting potential of the South Qiangtang metallogenic belts. On the basis of systematic analysis on regional metallogenic geological background, the geological characteristics of the Jiezechaka-Cimai area were studied in detail.Through data and sample collection, field investigation, geochemical analysis, rock and mineral identification, etc.,geological characteristics, ore controlling factors and metallogenic conditions for typical deposits(points)in the studied area are analyzed and studied, and the metallogenic regularity of Fe,Cu,W and Au polymetallic mineralization in this area are summarized.By analyzing the comprehensive information of metallogenic geological features, geophysics, geochemistry and anomaly of remote sensing alteration, the favorable metallogenic prospect area in the studied area is further delineated, and it is hoped to provide advice for the future geological prospecting in this area.Majour achievement of this study are list as follows:1.The ore bearing property of the studied area is studied and analyzed. It is believed that Fe in the Zhanjin formation of the Horbaco group,Au-Ag in the Qudi formation, and Cu,Au and Ag in the Riganpeicuo Group are obviously higher than the regional background values, which shoud be an important metal sources layers in the area.2.Intermediate acid granites in the studied area are formed during Yanshanian and can be further divided into middle Late Jurassic and early Cretaceous.Base on studying results on typical deposits, the middle Late Jurassic granites are closely related to Fe and Cu mineralization, and the early Cretaceous granites are closely related to W and Cu mineralization.3.Comprehensive analysis of the diverse information from geology, geophysical exploration, geochemical exploration and remote sensing in the studied area, and eight prospecting areas were delineated, including four A-level prospecting areas, two B-level prospecting areas, and two C-level prospecting prospects districts.
