The paper implements a set of magnetotelluric two-dimensional forward and inverse algorithms and codes based on fast multipole algorithm. In the numerical simulation of magnetotelluric two-dimensional forward modeling, the traditional integral equation forward algorithm is combined with the fast multipole algorithm, and the forward formula based on fast multipole algorithm is derived under the two-dimensional condition of magnetotelluric. The magnetotelluric two-dimensional forward modeling code based on fast multipole algorithm is designed and verified by theoretical model. The algorithm results are compared with the calculation results of finite element method, and the developed fast multipole algorithm is verified. The correctness and reliability of the magnetotelluric two-dimensional forward modeling code.In the aspect of inversion, the specific method of calculating the Jacobian matrix by using the fast multipole algorithm is studied.Using the inversion idea of the least squares method, the least squares inversion code of the Jacobian matrix is? ? calculated by using the fast multipole algorithm.Trial calculation of a series of theoretical models, using the synthetic data generated by it to simulate the measured data for inversion, and comparing the results of the inversion code of the Jacobian matrix without using the fast multipole algorithm to test the application The fast multipole algorithm calculates the reliability of the inversion code of the Jacobian matrix. The paper combines the fast multipole algorithm with the magnetotelluric two-dimensional forward and inversion theory.Through the concrete model test, the magnetotelluric two-dimensional forward and inversion code based on the fast multipole algorithm can improve the magnetotelluric two-dimensional positive and negative Computational efficiency...
