With the development of the economy,the role of the express delivery industry in society is becoming more and more important.It can be seen in various industries,and the government has issued a number of guidance and plans on the express delivery industry to guide the healthy and steady development of the express delivery industry.At the same time,the continuous innovation in the field of e-commerce has led to a sharp increase in the volume of express delivery,especially in a series of promotional activities implemented by major e-commerce platforms,such as “Double 11” and “Double 12”.Although the surge in express delivery has brought a lot of benefits,problems such as “explosion” and long delivery time have seriously affected the development of the express delivery industry.In view of the two problems affecting the development of the express delivery industry,this paper takes the L city S express delivery enterprise as an example to study its express demand forecast and distribution route planning.In view of the forecast of express demand,this paper considers the actual situation of L city express development,applies the optimal subset method to the gray Markov model,and uses this improved model to express the express delivery company in 2015,2016 and 2017.The quantity is predicted,and comparing the prediction results with the results of the three-dimensional exponential smoothing method and the gray model prediction,the results of the improved gray Markov model are closer to the true value,therefore,the improved gray Markov model was used to predict the express delivery volume of the S express company in 2018.For the problem of distribution route planning,this paper aims to model the maximum delivery volume and the shortest distribution path.Among them,the improved gray Markov model is used as the model data for the 2018 express delivery forecast of S express delivery company;The search algorithm(Harmony Search,HS)solves the model and obtains the maximum coverage of the S express delivery enterprise under the optimal path distribution of 8210821 pieces.The calculation of the effectiveness of the algorithm is carried out by using different scale examples,and the genetic algorithm is adopted.As a comparative experiment,the calculation results of Genetic Algorithm(GA)show that the rate of the optimal solution of the harmony search algorithm is faster than that of the genetic algorithm at a certain scale.Therefore,this paper finally obtains the best location and specific delivery route of the L-S express company in the first-level logistics center,the second-level logistics center and the express logistics business network in 2018,and reaches the maximum delivery coverage of 8210821 pieces.
