In recent years,Deicing salts with its efficient,cheap and excellent snow melt effect have been widely used in winter snow removal work,in northern China.With the increasing amount of chemical deicing agent application,its pollution and damage to soil,roadside vegetation,water body and public infrastructure have been widely concerned by the broad masses of scholars and the industry.China's northeastern region of the main application of chlorine salt-type deicing agent,is currently promoting environmentally friendly snow melting agent,to study the impact of different types of deicing agent on the soil and the environmental impact of environmental protection effect,to the promotion and application of environmentally friendly deicing of snow to provide a certain Scientific basis.In this paper,the soils before and after the snowfall on the roadside of the Dantong Expressway were sampled.The soil physical and chemical properties(soil bulk density,pH value and conductivity),nutrient index(total nitrogen,total phosphorus,available phosphorus available potassium and organic matter)and soil erodibility factor(K value)were analyzed at the three different types of deicing agent.Through the comparative analysis of the application of deicing agent before(September)and the application of deicing agent(April),three types deicing agent are Common Chloride Type(P type),Efficient Economic Road Environment Friendly(R type)and Low Chlorine Composite Bridge Environmentally Friendly Type(Type B).The main findings are as follow:(1)The three types of deicing agent have the effect of reducing the soil bulk density,among which the P-type deicing agent has the strongest reduction effect,and the lowest value of the bulk density appears in the 0-10 cm soil layer from the left side of the roadside,which is 50%of the control samples.The effect of the B-type deicing agent on soil bulk density was the smallest.R-type deicing agent has no significant effect on soil pH.The B-type B deicing agent increased soil pH and made the soil alkalization.The P-type deicing agent reduced soil pH and made the soil acidification.The three types of deicing agent have a significant effect on the soil conductivity,and the highest soil conductivity after applying P and R type deicing agent.(2)The effect of R-type deicing agent on the enhancement of soil total nitrogen was significantly higher than that of the other two types of deicing agent,and the soil total nitrogen content was the highest in the 10-20 cm soil at 0.5 m from the right side of the road.And the soil total nitrogen content in 10-20 cm soil layer was higher than that in 0-10 cm soil layer.After the application of the three kinds of snow melting agent,the total phosphorus content in the soil was lower than that in the control soil,and the total phosphorus content at the 1 m and 2 m sampling sites on the left side of the road was slightly higher than that of the control Soil samples.Three types of snow melting agents have the effect of increasing soil available phosphorus.In the three kinds of deicing agent,R-type deicing agent had the strongest effect on soil available potassium,while the effect of B-type deicing agent was not significant.The soil available potassium content was only 1 m and 2 m on the right side of the road 10-20 cm soil layer slightly increased.R-type deicing agent can significantly increase the soil organic content,the other two types of snow melting agent has a tendency to reduce soil organic matter content.(3)The effect of R-type deicing agent on the decrease of soil K value was stronger than B-type and P-type,and the soil K value after application of P-type deicing agent was increasing.In the 0-10 cm and 10-20 cm soil layers,the effect of three different deicing agent types on soil K value is not obvious.There was a significant negative correlation between the K value of soil erodibility factor and sand content in soil,and it was positively correlated with soil powder content.The content of soil sand after the application of R-type and B-type deicing agent was significantly increased,while the content of powder was significantly reduced,which greatly reduced the soil erodibility factor K and increased the soil erosion resistance.
