The multi-beam system plays an important role in modern underwater terrain surveying and has been widely used in many industries.With the advancement of hardware and software technologies,multi-beam systems are constantly being upgraded,from traditional depth measurements to side scans,backscattering intensities on the seabed,and water body data acquisition.The multi-beam system can obtain the current position and the energy conversion at beam opening angles.The backscattered intensity information from the instrument to the seabed truly digitizes the ocean information.This article is the use of multibeam system to collect the most abundant data source-water column data,to carry out related research.As a data source for sounding data and seabed backscattering,it has been applied in many fields,such as detection of submarine oil and gas leaks,underwater archaeological surveys,and marine fishery aquaculture.Water column data has a wealth of information that depth and submarine intensity cannot express,but its research is much less with depth and backscatter strength.The research content of this paper covers multibeam water column data acquisition and imaging,water column image noise and sidelobe impact analysis and processing methods,water column image target detection method,and water column image analysis and information extraction tool software design,research and development and other aspects.The main work is as follows:1.The principle of multibeam water column image data acquisition and imaging was researched and explained.The method of calculating the location of sampling points in w ater column imaging was studied.According to the phenomenon of beam null in the formation of sector graphs,a method of tracing back neighbor interpolation was proposed.In-depth analysis of all the available perspective images of the multibeam water column image,and the use of it for discussion and analysis,in-depth understanding,and at the same time the influencing factors of water column imaging imaging are discussed.2.An adaptive threshold water sidelobe denoising method is proposed.The adaptive threshold is calculated according to the characteristics of backscattered intensity to partition the image.The boundary parameter is used to locate the noise and target noise in the mixed sequence angle sequence and the compression factor is used.With noise compression,the processed water body image can be obtained.3.The denoised water column image is used for target detection.Through filtering.segmentation,hole filling,and independent point deletion,a clear target segmentation result is obtained.Using the simple edge tracing algorithm based on morphology,the edge information of the segmentation target is obtained.Compared with traditional edge detection operators from image detection results and time complexity,the superiority of the edge detection algorithm is determined.4.Based on the VS MFC platform,the design and development of the water body image analysis and information extraction tool software are realized.Through the user needs analysis to determine and design the function,and then it will be implemented in software.Through this software,many operations such as display,analysis,processing,and preservation of multi-beam water images can be realized.It fills the gaps in domestic water image processing software and has certain practical value and significance.
