Coal,grain and other products often need to be stored in a circular coal yard or granary due to various considerations such as space utilization.And it is important to obtain the volume and quality of these products quickly and accurately.Aiming at the problems of low inventory efficiency and low precision,this paper proposes a method for measuring the volume of deposits based on surface structure light.This article mainly include the following aspects:(1)Choose the 3D measurement method based on surface structure light after a lot of investigations and researches on the current 3D measurement technology.And based on the principle establishes a rapid measurement system for the volume of deposits based on surface structured light.(2)The calibration method of the 3D measurement system was studied,and the calibration of the camera and the projector was realized respectively.In order to avoid the use of additional special calibration equipment during the calibration process,circular color markers were used for projection calibration.(3)The principles and algorithms involved in each process of point cloud processing were studied in detail,and the existing algorithms are improved.In point cloud filtering,we use straight-through statistical method to filter out scattered noise points and outliers well.We also use the environment point cloud filtering algorithm to delete walls and roofs and to improve subsequent point cloud processing.(4)The result of triangulation in 3D reconstruction was used to calculate the volume of the deposit to improve the calculation efficiency,and sand with a smaller particle size was selected as the measurement object to verify the accuracy of the volume calculation.The experimental results show that the sand volume measurement task with a volume of 1000 cm~2 can be completed within 200 ms,and the relative error is only 0.18%.
