Laser scanning ranging technology is one of the main means to quickly obtain environmental distance information,which is significant for the realization of threedimensional information.The method has the advantages of fast detection speed,good directivity,large angle range and long distance.In the operation of industrial robots,the environment sensing system is the basis for positioning environmental objects and realizing specific position measurement.Laser scanning ranging technology is applied to the robot environment sensing system to assist in the analysis of the surrounding environment of industrial robots.It is an important application of laser scanning ranging.In addition,the system also has a large application space in highway inspection stations,item sorting,smart cars and other fields.This project used the combination of PC interface and microprocessor to drive the system.The laser pulse method was used to realize the distance measurement.The laser emission collimating optical path and the echo converging optical path were designed to improve the measurement range.The TDC-GPX2 was used as the core chip.High-precision time interval measurement,combined with electromechanical rotation,realized the function of system scanning and ranging,and achieves the purpose of quickly obtaining the distance of the surrounding environment.Firstly,the paper introduced the basic theories of laser scanning ranging system,including pulse ranging principle,echo detection principle,time interval measurement principle,laser emission and echo optical processing principle and system scanning realization principle.Then the laser scanning measurement according to actual conditions was designed system.Secondly,according to the realization goal of the system,the laser transmitting circuit and the echo receiving circuit were designed.Focusing on the emission timing of the laser pulse,and the arrival time of the echo,and realizing the time interval measurement of the laser flight by using the time digital conversion method,the highprecision ranging can be realized.Aiming at the problem that the divergence angle of the laser semiconductor diode was too large,the laser emission collimated optical path system was designed by implying mutually perpendicular cylindrical mirrors and the echo converging optical path system was designed according to the specific conditions of the APD;the design of the PC interface simplified the setting of the motor,The motor was controlled to perform a rotational scanning in a specific manner,and a mechanical structure was designed to integrate the laser scanning ranging system.Finally,a laser scanning ranging system was built on the mechanical platform designed and processed.The electrical modules and optical modules of the system were experimentally verified respectively.The system was designed to test the performance of the system's ranging function and scanning ranging function.The experimental data was analyzed to verify the feasibility.
