The feedback control design of dynamic system is widely used in engineering practice.The research on this kind of problems mainly focused on proposing or improving the control design method of a certain kind of system or common system.Many of these control design evaluations go through the effects of tracking control.Control performance evaluation of control system probably contains two kinds,one is based on the control performance evaluation in the frequency domain,mainly zero frequency amplitude ratio,resonant peak,resonant frequency,bandwidth and other indicators.In addition,the control performance can be analyzed by tracking the response of the system's control variables in the time domain.Generally,it includes a variety of evaluation indexes such as rise time,peak time,overshoot,steady-state error,and the like,because the direct response control effect,so the control index in the time domain is more intuitive for observing the actual tracking effect.It is worth noting that these evaluation indexes in the time domain are based on the control tracking signal as a step signal,so the step signal has always been regarded as the classic tracking control signal.However,in the process of actual design and application,the reference signals are varied.The influence of design reference on tracking performance of feedback control remains to be researched.In this paper,the feedback control of dynamic system is designed for this kind of problem,and the control tracking signals appearing in previous research papers are summarized.Three different types of design reference signals are selected during the research design,which are the classic step reference signal,Reference signal,periodic reference signal.For the sake of the fairness in the design and the post-analysis,multiobjective particle swarm optimization(MOPSO)algorithm is adopted to define the multi-objective of the feedback control design,so as to get the overall control performance of the controller set.There are two dynamic systems selected,single inputsingle output system and single input multiple output system,using the former for the initial numerical analysis,the latter for numerical and experimental analysis.The definition of multi-objective would be different according to different design reference signal in the design process.For example,the multi-objective selection of peak time,overshoot,steady-state time and error term in the design of a step reference signal can not be used in the design process.However,Signal and period reference signal control design,select the error term and energy term,which is caused by the different nature of between the design references.This two kinds of dynamic control systems adopt PID feedback control law.The controller set from different optimal control designs are applied to the tracking control of same signal,and the overall performance of the controller set is compared.In addition,the appropriate representative controller for the tracking control application is selected in the multi group control design,and the input and output time response of the system is compared.The results show that the different design reference signals do affect the tracking performance of the control design.
