The exploration of altered rocks and minerals by hyperspectral remote sensing is one of the main applications of remote sensing geology in recent years. In addition to rich mineral characteristics, altered rocks may produce many different spectra because of their differences in internal composition and structure. However, the abundant spectral information is often covered by vegetation, resulting in weak alteration information in the pixel spectrum. For example,in the absorption band of carbonate altered rocks near 2300 nm,it will show obvious absorption valley, but the green vegetation covered by it will become obvious reflection peak in this band. Therefore, decomposing the mixed pixels in the mixed spectrum is the most effective way to solve this problem. The traditional method of extracting alteration information mainly considers the diagnostic pop characteristics of altered surrounding rock itself and eliminates the influence of mixed pixels by mathematical model calculation. This topic will collect the background pop information of the study area, and then simulate the similar vegetation coverage according to the actual environment of the exploration area. The measured and simulated spectra are integrated as background spectra and then removed from remote sensing images. The purpose is to separate compound spectra and identify related alteration minerals.
