As an effective method to prospect the oil and gas reservoir, the seismic migration plays an important role in the oil and gas exploration in China which is based on the classical technology. The exploration target is gradually turning to the complex reservoirs, and the difficulty of exploration has been increased.Anistropy exists in earth media generally,by using the method of the high-precision Gaussian beam migration in anisotropic media, the high resolution images are presented, which is beneficial to lithology identification, reservoir prediction and reservoir characterization. Therefore the method of anisotropic Gaussian bean migration is studied in this paper. On the basis of previous studies,we extended the traditional isotropic Gaussian beam migration to anisotropic media, and proposed the method of anisotropic Gaussian beam migration. The main research includes the following several aspects:(1)We derived the basic formula of Gaussian beam and introduced the basic property of Gaussian beam.(2)On the basis of Zhu's,we derived the anisotropic kinematic and dynamic ray tracing systems and proposed an simple idea and the algorithm of ray tracing in anisotropic media.Furthermore we applied this algorithm to the Gaussian beam modeling and migration.(3)We derived the imaging formula and proposed the method of converted Gaussian beam migration in anisotropic media.(4)On the basis of Yue,we derived the formula and studied the elastic Gaussian bean migration in anisotropic media. And the numerical experiments on model in TI media have demonstrated the accuracy and validity of the proposed method in this paper.
