Seismic inversion is a very important technique in reservoir prediction.On the basis of conventional seismic impedance inversion and prestack elastic impedance inversion,the seismic ray impedance inversion method and its application are developed.Ray impedance inversion is one of the methods among prestack seismic inversion.Different from the wave impedance and elastic impedance inversion method,it can be realized in the ray parameter domain.Because of its ability to avoid the two hypotheses that based on the principle of elastic impedance inversion,so it is theoretically better to predict the reservoir.Firstly,the basic principle of seismic wave impedance inversion is studied and then several different mathematical calculation methods included sparse impulse inversion,colored inversion,generalized linear inversion and so on are studied in the inversion process.Based on the actual seismic data,different inversion methods are adopted to realize the application of different types of actual data that are in prestack and poststack.The inversion effects of different inversion methods are analyzed.Based on the conventional seismic wave impedance inversion,I study the principle of ray impedance and ray impedance formula.After that,the ray impedance reflection coefficient and elastic impedance reflection coefficient are compared in the four types of gas bearing sandstone models.Then the basic flow of ray impedance inversion is studied.Finally,prestack elastic impedance inversion and ray impedance inversion are carried out based on prestack seismic data.And it makes a comparative analysis to explore the advantages and disadvantages of this method in some aspects.
