This thesis takes the Cenozoic strata in northwest area of Song Hong basin as the research object, and combines with the research status home and abroad about reservoir classification and its formation mechanism, using some technical means like structural evolution analysis, logging facies analysis, seismic facies recognition, and attributive analysis,to divide the tectonic units and fault system of the work area, restore the sedimentary evolution process, and identify the favorable reservoirs with the mechanism discussion, finally delineate the distribution range of the target reservoir. The study area is mainly controlled by the NW-SE direction Red fault system, and its southeast region is affected by NE-SW direction fault system of Beibuwan basin, which has experienced two large-scale tectonic reversal movement: late Oligocene tectonic inversion period and the late Miocene tectonic inversion period, and formed two regional unconformity surface, and the unconformity surface shows different seismic reflection features on both sides of the SongLo fault.Tectonic movement, sea level changes and sediment supply jointly control the evolution of the basin sedimentary environment.Based on the research data of the two drilling logging in this area, according to the division of log facies in sea level change curve, combining with the section thickness and seismic facies analysis, depth structure map analysis, speculates the sedimentary environment evolution process, and establishes the sedimentary model from Eocene to Pliocene in the study area, then sums up that the study area mainly experienced three sedimentary stages: alluvial fan, river delta environment to the lake environment, delta environment transition to the coastal environment, eventually evolved into delta sedimentary environment. The Red river material began largely pouring into the study area in Miocene period. The reservoir in the study area can be divided into Pre-tertiary carbonate reservoir and tertiary clastic rock reservoir. The Pre-tertiary carbonate reservoir is mainly composed of late Paleozoic sedimentary formation of shallow Marine carbonate, after Mesozoic uplifting and leaching, formed a series of grabens and horsts under the influence of the Red river fault strike-slip movement in the late Eocene. The tertiary clastic rock reservoir is composed of the alluvial fan in the early rifting, inversion structure reservoir in late Oligocene, marine overlying sandstone reservoir in early Miocene, basin floor fans, channel sandstone and shallow marine sandstone reservoir in middle Miocene, and inversion structure reservoir in late Miocene.Combined with the basement carbonate distribution, depth structure diagram, and the lacustrine facies hydrocarbon source rock and cap rock distribution range, dividing the oil and gas favorable area of the Pre-tertiary carbonate stratum.Take the attribute analysis of the canyon channel in tertiary clastic rock reservoir, identify the range of multiphase development of river channels, and its matched channel turbidite deposition, which provide guidance to find favorable oil and gas zones.
