Shale gas is the current unconventional natural gas resource with great potential for exploration and development. However,as a typical Lower Cambrian black rock series in China,Qianbei has a complete sedimentary sequence and good outcrops,so the research is of great significance. This paper chooses to analyze and analyze the Niutitang Formation in the Fenggang Block second and adjacent areas in the northern part of Guizhou Province,by collecting and arranging predecessors literature and data, field geological survey, field profile measurement, laboratory experiment research and software mapping.Based on seismic attributes, transforming seismic physical data into geological language, compiling geological maps, understanding target waves, reflection layer tracking, breakpoint interpretation, breakpoint plane combination, forming target layer,etc.t0 line graph,time-depth conversion velocity study, forming the contour map of the bottom plate, summarizing the tectonic geological characteristics and hydrocarbon accumulation conditions of the Fenggang second block, predicting the shale gas reservoir of the Niutitang Formation, and selecting the evaluation criteria for optimizing the target area of shale gas,and delineating the favorable exploration target area of Suiyang and Jianchaxi syncline foldaxis limb.?1?In the study of the Niutitang Formation in the study area, the ZK02 and Yongfeng 1 well in the study area were mainly used, combined with the completed drilling data of five peripheral wells and the measured section data of the village, the study was considered the Niutitang Formation is mainly composed of high carbonaceous shale and black siliceous rocks. The buried depth is generally shallower in the southeastern and southwestern parts, and the central part is relatively deep due to the extrusion of the Wanglong anticline. The thickness of the black mud shale is large overall, and the trend from NW to SE gradually decreases.?2?Through the characteristics of seismic and FMI electrical imaging images, combined with coring and logging data, the lithologic characteristics, sedimentary facies characteristics, fracture characteristics, wellbore structure and geostress of the shale gas of the Niutitang Formation are carried out.According to the analysis,it is considered that the study area is dominated by NE and NNE faults, and most of the faults are reverse faults, which are generally consistent with the northern part of the area. The complex anisotropic tectonic anticline with axial NE as a whole has structural curvature and distribution characteristics. There is a significant difference in the slanting direction. The overall performance is that the anticline is steep, and the slanting is broad and gentle. It is a typical barrier-type fold. The study area is mainly subjected to the geostress of the northeast-southwest direction, resulting in the development of mid-high angle cracks. And accompanied by the development of micro-faults.?3?Comprehensive consideration of ten indicators of shale gas reservoir evaluation such as stratum depth, effective shale thickness, sedimentary facies, mineral content in shale, reservoir physical properties, and organic carbon content. The evaluation criteria for the favorable area of the Niutitang Formation in the Fenggang second block and the delineation of the two favorable areas of the Suiyang syncline core and the Jianchaxi syncline core are the exploration of the shale gas reservoir of the Niutitang Formation in the study area. And development and similar projects provide reference.
