At present,the widely used modeling method in GIS is to abstract things and phenomena in the real world as geometric features,such as points,lines,surfaces,and so on,and to organize and manage them in the form of layers.However,this static hierarchical modeling method expresses people's understanding of the map rather than the real world.It is difficult to support the description of the relationship between multiple spatial entities,the interaction of different scales of the same spatial entity and the integration of multiple data organizations.In order to solve this problem,this paper tries to change the indirect modeling method based on map as a template,directly face to the spatial entity for modeling and data organization,put forward the data model of multi-granularity spatiotemporal object,and studied the transformation and generation method of multi-granularity spatiotemporal object.Compared with the traditional GIS model,multi-granularity spatial-temporal object model pays more attention to the expression of the dynamic world and the relationship between entities.In order to verify the feasibility of the data model of multi-granularity space-time object,this paper designed and developed a multi-granularity space-time object display system to show the data of the regional government from many aspects.The main research content and results are as follows:(1)Based on the description framework of multi-granularity spatio-temporal objects,the six-tuple representation model of multi-granularity spatio-temporal objects and the structure of the model were proposed,and the common data structure of multi-granularity spatio-temporal objects was given based on XML schema.(2)Research the original data analysis,object class template design,conversion rules and other data conversion methods,vector map data conversion to spatial object data conversion process was designed.Based on the conversion method and process design,a multi-granularity spatiotemporal object conversion generation tool was developed.Shapefile vector data to multi-granularity spatiotemporal object data conversion of XML format was realized.(3)In order to verify the feasibility of the multi-granularity spatial-temporal object data model and the transformation generation method in the practical application,a multi-granularity spatial-temporal object display system was designed and developed based on the transformed administrative data,and the basic functions such as visualization,query location and multi-data display were realized in the GIS system at the WEB end.
