Chinese coal mining has a long history.Most of the mining scale is large and high intensity.Although the exploitation of resources to promote the local economic and social development,the geological environment problems are more serious.In this paper,Baijiazhuang coal mining area in Taiyuan City,Shanxi Province,is selected as the research area to investigate the geological environment problems.Classified and studied the problems,and then analyzed the stability of the slope.Baijiazhuang Coal Mine is the center of Xishan Mine Geopark in Taiyuan,so it is important to analyze the stability of unstable slope and bad geological phenomena.The main geological environment problems studied in this paper are unstable slope,coal gangue dump,road waste and debris flow hidden dangers.Loose deposits produced by unstable slopes will become the source of debris flow,which will aggravate the scale of debris flow disasters.Therefore,this paper focuses on the analysis of the stability of four unstable slopes,calculates the stability coefficient,and puts forward the corresponding managements.Because the unconsolidated deposits produced by the unstable slopes will become the source of debris flow,which will aggravate the occurrence scale of debris flow disasters,this paper focuses on the analysis of the stability of four unstable slopes in the study area,and calculates the stability coefficients respectively,and puts forward the corresponding control measures.On the basis of investigating the present situation of geological hazards,this paper classifies and summarizes the overall geological hazards in the area,and understands the possible geological hazards and the feasible schemes for controlling related hazards.This led to the suggestion of governance.And based on collecting and analyzing the physical and mechanical indexes of stratum lithology and soil layer,four unstable slopes are modeled and solved by GeoStudio software sigma module and slope module,and the stress and strain analysis under two different conditions of natural and rainfall are carried out.Then,the total stress contour map,the maximum shear stress contour map and the maximum shear strain contour map under different conditions are drawn.According to the stress and strain analysis,the parts which are easy to be destroyed under rainfall are obtained,and the slope stability under natural and rainfall conditions is obtained.Finally,the stability coefficient is calculated by slope module for BP1 and BP2.The stability coefficient of BP1 is 1.074 under natural conditions,0.980 under rainfall conditions,0.956 under natural conditions and 0.873 under rainfall conditions.The stability coefficient of BP3 is 1.490 in natural condition,1.280 in rainfall condition,1.220 in natural condition and 1.030 in rainfall condition.Finally,according to the results of stability analysis and actual situation,suggestions for slope cutting and retaining wall support are put forward.
