Visible and near-infrared reflectance spectra of plant are basic data for applications in remote sensing classification, multispectral imaging and color reproduction. It is also the basis for the classification and matching of hyperspectral images on ground plants. The significance of plant spectral measurement and analysis is very crucial. The visible and near-infrared reflectance spectra of ground plants are measured and analyzed in order to provide data for remote sensing classification and recognition, spectral imaging and color reproduction of ground plants. The article mainly completed the following work:(1)Measurement of reflectance spectrum of trees and flowers in the visible and nearinfrared bands using a hyperspectral imaging spectrometer in the room. The measured plants include: 42 species of trees such as Eucalyptus,Laurel,Ginkgo, and Maple;8 kinds of flowers such as Grass,Azalea,Tulip, and Rose. The experiment obtained for a total of 50 trees and flowers.Radiation correction and noise removal are performed on the spectral data.(2)The reflectance spectra characteristics of the plants were analyzed.Firstly, the basic spectra characteristics of trees and flowers are analyzed.Secondly, the reflectance curve of the plant is analyzed in different types and seasons. Finally, the reflectance spectrum feature analysis was performed by first derivative and red edge parameters. These analyses laid the foundation for spectral imaging and classification and identification of ground plants.(3)In visible and near-infrared bands, reflectance spectrum data of flowers and trees are processed by PCA(Principal Component Analysis)and correlation analysis. In the visible light band, the cumulative contribution rates of three principal components are 0.978 and 0.970,the cumulative contribution rates of five principal components of trees and flowers is 0.995.In the near-infrared band, flowers and trees have three principal components. The cumulative contribution rates of three principal components are 0.998 and 0.996.The results of correlation analysis showed that the correlation between the reflectance spectrum of visible band and near-infrared band are 0.238 and 0.316,which is low correlation.
