There is a great potential for the development of subsection hydrocarbon source rocks in the four sections of the ancient near shahejie formation in dongpu depression.However,the hydrocarbon generation capacity of this source rock has not been studied systematically,and its hydrocarbon generation capacity is insufficient.Paper on the basis of exploratory well data,core analysis,test data,etc.,the hydrocarbon geological and organic geochemical characteristics of source rock evaluation,the sand on the four period of hydrocarbon source rocks of the lithology is given priority to with dark mudstone,contains a small amount of oil shale.The hydrocarbon source rocks are mainly developed in the shallow lake and deep lake-semi-deep lake and salt lake depositional facies.Its geochemical characteristics are mainly controlled by sedimentary environment,and the content of TOC in the salt zone is higher than that in the area of 0.6%,with an average value of more than 1%,and the TOC in the transition zone and the no-salt area is lower than 0.5%.The type of organic matter in the salt zone is good,with type I,the transition zone is mainly type ? kerogen,and there is a small amount of type I kerogen,and the type of kerogen in the salt-free zone is poor,with type ? as the main type.In terms of hydrocarbon source rock maturity,the whole of dongpu sag present the characteristics of the east west high low,near the top of pear and GeGang set is of the highest degree of thermal evolution,and to the south,north,west to decrease gradually.The hydrocarbon generation characteristics of subsection hydrocarbon source rocks were studied by hydrocarbon potential method.It was found that the Ro(%)corresponding to the expulsion threshold of the hydrocarbon source rocks in the salt zone,transition zone and non-saline region was 0.74%,0.76%and 0.88%respectively,and the cumulative hydrocarbon generation of the sub-source rocks was 93.00×10~8t,and the hydrocarbon amount was 16.68×10~8t.In general,the hydrocarbon-bearing area has the highest hydrocarbon intensity,especially in the former pear orchard.
