After polarization optics developing for years,scientists and engineers come to realize that the nature of light,polarization,can refresh nowadays optical science and technology and effect deeply in the near future.Vector light field can initiate many kinds of phenomenon as it spreading in the space and reacting with some materials due to its unparallel spacedistribution.The article is focused on the problem of how the vector light field react with complex optical systems and discover the principle behind it.In the paper,several top polarization optics problems are supposed to be solved,such as precision controlling the vector light field,optimizing the high-quality optical system,best-using of light field's polarized character,reducing the polarization aberration.Following are the details,Firstly,it is proposed a unique polarization control method of vector light field here,which is based on cascade system with double delay.Simultaneously,a model is built to control of the vector field by using double delayer cascade system.Based on the system,different situations are discussed,including combination of two 1/2 wave plates,combination of two 1/4 wave plates,combination of one 1/2 wave plate and a one 1/4 wave plate.Different combination modes are analyzed by the simulation,which is focused on the distribution of the vector polarization light field.And all the methods and simulation are verified by experiment.Secondly,the polarization nature of the complex optical system is confirmed by taking a deep-ultraviolet rays projection objective.A mathematical model for analyzing the polarization characteristics of optical films is established,and a deep-ultraviolet rays antireflection film system is designed.After that,the three-dimensional polarization aberration function is constructed based on the three-dimensional polarized light tracing algorithm.And the relationship among the pupil distribution of the three-dimensional polarization aberration function,the field of view,the wavelength,and the optical thin film is discussed.Finally,radial-vector light field and tangential-vector light field are used as illumination sources to study the interaction method between the vector light field and the deep-ultraviolet rays projection objective.According to this,how vector light field influences on the imaging quality of optical system is discovered.And it's also clear that how optical system modulates the polarization-state distribution of the incident vector field.
