Electric power optical fiber is the crucial part of the power communication system because of its advantages and has become the mainstream communication methods in the power system in recent years.In order to ensure the normal operation and efficient production of power system,it is urgent to enhance the dependability of power optical fiber transmission network.It will bring enormous economic loss to the relevant enterprises and users when the communication malfunction occurs in the power optical fiber lines.Therefore,it is a significant task to detect the fault point of power optical fiber in time and locate it accurately.According to the problems about locate the fault of power optical fiber lines.The following work is done in this paper:(1)Study on OTDR curve analysis method.An OTDR curve analysis method based on bayes and least squares is presented.Specific steps are as follows: Firstly,the original OTDR signal is denoised by wavelet;Then,the residual sequence is constructed with OTDR data and the sequence is normalized.Based on bayesian decision,the interface between event points and non-event points is determined under the circumstance of limiting the miss probability of OTDR event points.Therefore,the event points in the OTDR curve data are distinguished from non-event points.Thirdly,the event points in the original OTDR data were eliminated.OTDR data after the event points were fitted with segmented least squares.Finally,the fitting data and the original OTDR data are subtracted to judge the type of fault point according to the difference value.The experimental result shows that the algorithm has high classification precision and fast classification speed,which meets the requirements of OTDR detection.(2)Research on fault location method of power optical fiber line based on GIS.The method is proposed in this thesis,The location information of each special point in the optical cable line(latitude and longitude,distance measurement point distance,etc.)is stored in the GIS database.The actual measured distance is compared with the special point information stored in the database to reduce the range of fault points and locked between two adjacent special points.To get the longitude and latitude of the fault point,and finally display the location of the fault point in the actual GIS map.Experimental results show that the fault location accuracy can be controlled within a range of 20 m and the positioning speed was only 1.36 seconds.(3)The design and implementation of optical cable fault location system.A cable fault location and management system is designed.This system comprehensively uses C# client programming technology,TCP/IP network programming technology,GIS secondary development technology.It's friendly to machine interface and convenient to use that the database programming technology and so on realizes the optical cable fault accurate localization and the management system development.
