In this paper, the transparent film materials with different visual effects on both sides are defined as "asymmetric fluoroscopy film",such as unidirectional fluoroscopy film, color film sunglasses, etc. It is found that the three polarizers of absorbing polarizer, reflective polarizer and scattering polarizer can be combined to form composite optical thin films. The two sides also have similar effect. The theoretical research and production technology of absorbing polarizer have been mature, but the theoretical research of reflective polarizer and scattering polarizer is lack. The scattering polarizer is successfully prepared by dry stretching.Based on the theory of polarization optics, the Jones matrix of reflective polarizer is derived, and the Jones matrix of scattering polarizer under certain conditions is deduced. The asymmetric perspective effect is analyzed from experimental and theoretical aspects.Firstly, the scattering polarizer is prepared by dry unidirectional stretching polyvinyl alcohol doped liquid crystal.Using Olympus microscope to observe the micrographs of the droplets before and after stretching,it is found that the microdroplets changed from spherical to ellipsoidal with the stretching. The optical properties of the samples are tested by UV spectrophotometer. When stretched to 4 times, the optical properties of the samples are optimized. The transmittance is 40% and the polarization efficiency is 57%.The relationship between the transmittance and the distance of the scattering polarizer and the detector, and the angle of the polarized light and the translucent axis of the sample are tested and studied.Secondly, three kinds of polarizing films are combined into composite polarizers, and the effect of asymmetric fluoroscopy is carried out.The spectral contrast diagram of the transmittance and reflectivity on both sides of the asymmetric fluoroscopy film is obtained, and the reasons for the effect of asymmetric fluoroscopy are analyzed. The reflectivity is the decisive factor in the effect of asymmetric perspective. Finally,on the basis of the Jones matrix of absorbing polarizer and combining with Fresnel's laws, the Jones matrix of the reflective polarizer is derived and verified.Based on the Jones matrix of absorbing polarizer and reflective polarizer, the expression of the Jones matrix of the scattering polarizer is reasonably assumed, and the Jones matrix of the scattering polarizer at r=20cm is derived from the experimental data. The principle of asymmetric fluoroscopy film is theoretically analyzed. The theoretical analysis is consistent with the experimental results and the results of the test. When the transmittance axes of two polarizers are parallel, the asymmetric effect is best. With the increase of the angle of the two transmittance axes, the effect of asymmetrical fluoroscopy gradually weakened. The asymmetric perspective film can be used for advanced building decoration, combined with scattering polarizer, and can also be used as a transparent screen for orthographic projection, which expands the application market of polarizer. The experimental and theoretical study of reflective and scattering polarizers is of great significance to the research and application of polarizing films.
