With the development of laser technology,high stability small power semiconductor laser has important value in the fields of precision measurement,photoelectric sensor,quantum communication and so on.With the expansion of the application field of semiconductor laser,the requirements for semiconductor laser drive are also improved,especially in the aspects of device performance and control accuracy.Driving technology has become one of the important factors restricting the further development of semiconductor lasers.At present,the existing laser temperature control source and driver are generally large in size and relatively expensive to purchase,so it is not conducive to the control and integration of the system.Aiming at the above problems,a high-precision semiconductor laser driver system based on current temperature feedback control is designed in this paper.The system mainly includes three parts: temperature control module,current drive module,and system improvement control module.The current drive module uses adn2830,a high-precision current control chip of ADI company,and designs the relevant auxiliary circuit;the temperature control module uses adn8830,a high-precision temperature control chip of ADI company,as the main control chip of the temperature control circuit,and designs the temperature control structure of the semiconductor laser and the drive circuit design of the thermoelectric cooler;in the actual circuit test,it is found that half The output power of the conductor laser fluctuates with the temperature,because there is a certain delay between the temperature control of Tec and the temperature of LD chip after the laser works stably,which further leads to the sine wave relationship measured in the experiment.In view of the coupling relationship between the temperature and the output power of the semiconductor laser,this paper improves the control of the designed laser drive system.Mainly through monitoring the output optical power and the detection current of the laser,judge the delay time of temperature control,and supplement the injection current of the laser to eliminate the delay in the control of the temperature control system.The experimental results show that the semiconductor laser driver can effectively control the stability of the injection current,the operating temperature and the output optical power of the laser,and the injection current ripple of the laser is less than 2mV,the operating temperature range is within ± 0.1 ?,and the stability rate of the output optical power is within 1%.The constant temperature and constant power control circuit based on current negative feedback and temperature negative feedback designed in this paper will provide technical support for the development of driving circuit of small power semiconductor laser in quantum and many communication fields.
