Xiong'er mountain is one of the famous gold deposits in China,which is rich in gold resources and has various types of gold deposits,including altered rock type,quartz vein type and breccia type.Previous studies have been made on this area and abundant geological data have been accumulated,but few studies have been made on the internal relationship between these gold deposit types,especially the relationship between altered rock type gold deposit and quartz vein type gold deposit.Based on a detailed study of Hongzhuang altered rock type gold deposit and Yuanling quartz vein type gold deposit,this paper summarizes the geological characteristics of typical deposits,compares and analyzes the metallogenic characteristics,and discusses the genesis of the deposits and the internal relationship between the two types of deposits.The research mainly achieved the following results and understanding.The occurrence sites of Hongzhuang altered rock type gold deposit and Yuanling quartz vein type gold deposit are mainly controlled by Yanshanian granitic?porphyry?rock mass and fault structure.The two types of gold deposits are found in the taihua group and the xiong'er group,indicating that these deposits do not possess"stratigraphic specificity".Hongzhuang altered rock type gold deposit is located near Machaoying fault,and Yuanling quartz vein type gold deposit is located at the intersection of Shiyaokou-Jiaoyuan fault and Machaoying fault.The ore types of Hongzhuang gold mine and Yuanling gold mine are altered rock type and quartz vein type respectively.The mineral composition and surrounding rock alteration of the two ores are similar,and the gold is usually natural gold or occurs in pyrite and galena.The ore body size of Hongzhuang altered rock type gold deposit is larger than that of Yuanling quartz vein type gold deposit,which confirms the characteristics of the altered rock type gold deposit.The results of inclusions temperature measurement,laser Raman spectroscopy and H-O isotope test indicate that the ore-forming fluids in Hongzhuang and Yuanling are similar in nature and may be from the same source.The ore-forming fluids in the early stage were originated from magmatic hydrothermal fluids.In the later stage of mineralization,meteoric water was constantly added into the fluid,and the temperature and salinity of the fluid were decreasing.?18OH2O in quartz also gradually approached the meteoric water line.In conclusion,Hongzhuang altered rock type gold deposit and Yuanling quartz vein type gold deposit are the products of the same metallogenic system,and they have the same source of metallogenic fluid and metallogenic material,and they are different mineralization types mainly due to different ore-controlling structural conditions and metallogenic processes.
