Different Ore Types And Analysis Of Fluorite Purity In Bai Yan Obo

The Bai Yan Obo ultra-large niobium-iron-rare earth deposit contains fluorite,sulfur,phosphorus,potassium,scandium,thorium and other elements and minerals with great economic value.It is currently one of the world's most discovered new mineral types of ores.Among them,fluorite is the most widely distributed gangue mineral in Bai Yan Obo deposit and has the longest generation time.It has important utilization or potential utilization value.In order to reasonably mine and utilize fluorite in the deposit,and realize resource cost reduction and efficiency increase,it is necessary to find out the distribution and characteristics of fluorite in the deposit.Therefore,based on detailed petrography,mineralogy,process mineralogy,and geochemistry,this paper focuses on the distribution of fluorite in different sections and ores,ore types and characteristics,and purity of the Bai Yan Obo deposit(Including fluid inclusions).Based on the collection and collation of a large amount of research data in the past,combined with field geological surveys and indoor research of samples,it has been ascertained that there are more than 170 known minerals in the Bai Yan Obo deposit,mainly present in five major types of ores.Namely: fluorite type ore,dolomite type ore,neonite type ore,amphibole type ore and mica amphibole type ore.Fluorite is not only one of the basic minerals that make up various types of ore,but also widely exists in skarn and altered wall rocks.Due to the different intensity of fluorine fluid activity,the mineralization intensity of fluorite in each ore section is also different.Fluorite is most distributed in the main east ore body of Bai Yan Obo,the main ore is more than the east ore,and the west ore and east contact zone are less distributed.Granite in the east and north of the mining area produces disseminated particles or late veins of fluorite.Among the five types of ores widely distributed in Bai Yan Obo,the mineral content of fluorite is significantly different.The fluorite-type niobium rare earth iron ore(also known as strip-type niobium rare earth iron ore)has the highest fluorite content,reaching 23.3%.Fluorite is usually present in the ore band.Fluorite ranks second in the mica-type ore(mica amphibole-type niobium rare earth iron ore),about 12.82%.The contents of fluorite in otherores are amphibole type ore(sodium amphibole type niobium rare earth iron ore)(9.10%),neonite type(neonite type niobium rare earth iron ore)(4.96%)and Bai Yan Stone type(dolomite type niobium rare earth iron ore)(3.98%).
