jiahe Formation generally has sandstone and conglomerate reservoirs in the northwestern Sichuan Basin.which are significant characterized by complex composition.large differences in rock structure and strong reservoir heterogeneity.Using high-resolution sequence stratigraphy research methods.studying at the sequence stratigraphy characteristics of Xu second stage in Jiange area.The interface characteristics of the three-stage cycle of long.medium and short are analyzed from the aspects of seismic section and well logging curve.the characteristics of the three-stage cycle are analyzed also.The sequence stratigraphic framework of two profiles was established.and was analyzed the variation characteristics of sequence cycles between wells.The Xu second stage is divided into a complete long-term cycle.two mid-term cycles and 13 short-term cycles.The interface of the cycle mainly includes unconformity.erosion and lake flooding etc.Studied at the sedimentary facies of the Xujiahe Formation from the aspects of lithology.sand body development extent etc..analyzed the microfacies of the Xu second stage in the Jiange area.and established recognition method of various microfacies from the aspects of lithology.electrical measurement curve etc.Analyzed the interwell changes of sedimentary facies by studying the characteristics of single-well facies and longitudinal phase sequence.Analyzed the provenance direction of the study area from the aspects of regional structural characteristics and conglomerate thickness changes etc.it is believed that the provenance mainly comes from the Longmen Mountain orogenic belt in the north of it.9 contour maps of the thickness of the sand body and 9 contour maps of the sand-to-ground ratio were drawn in each small layers.The distribution characteristics of sedimentary microfacies were studied based on the characteristics of sand-to-sand ratio./The variation characteristics of sedimentary environment among the small layers of Xu second stage in Jiange area were analyzed based on combined the results of the sequence of deposition and sequence stratigraphy.It is helpful for the later analysis of the pore types and physical properties of the Xu second stage reservoir in Jiange area.
