Single beam bathymeter is a common sonar equipment in the field of underwater acoustic exploration.It can ensure the navigation safety of ships and realize the mapping of marine topography by measuring the water depth information.However,there are some errors in measuring the water depth of the same place with different types of instruments under the same conditions.In order to eliminate the errors in the results of the depth sounder,it is necessary to calibrate and test the different types of depth sounder.However,at present,the calibration device of single beam bathymeter mainly uses a special standard pool to convert the bathymeter's sounding into the horizontal ranging in the pool,but due to the limitation of pool width and the complexity of water operation,the calibration range is limited and the calibration of acoustic parameters of transducer of single beam bathymeter is not clear.To solve the problems of small calibration range of single-beam sounder and unclear calibration of transducer acoustic parameters,the main tasks of this project are as follows:1.Using hydrophone,oscilloscope and controller,a set of system for calibrating the acoustic parameters of single beam sounder is built in the anechoic water tank.The calibration of transducer frequency,sound source level,beam width and radiated sound field of single beam sounder is realized.2.A set of single beam bathymetric device which can realize on-site calibration is set up by using electrical signal to simulate acoustic echo.The advantage of using electrical signal to simulate acoustic echo signal calibration device is that the calibration depth can be set freely without any restriction.3.Using acoustic signal to simulate acoustic echo,a set of single beam bathymetric device which can realize on-site calibration is built.By using the echo generated by the response transducer to calibrate the bathymeter,the transducer of the bathymeter is required to participate in the calibration.The problem that the transducer does not participate in the calibration is solved,and the field calibration of the bathymetric accuracy can be realized.4.The calibration results of acoustic parameters and sounding accuracy of single beam sounder are summarized,and the parts that can be improved in the calibration process are prospected.
