Since China discovered oil and natural gas,it has been widely used in production and life.Pipeline transportation has many advantages as the main way of transportation and storage of oil and natural gas,but if a leak occurs,it will cause great harm.This article studies the pipeline leak detection technology at home and abroad.Due to the practicality of the negative pressure wave detection method and the sound wave detection method in today and the similarity between the two,the focus is on comparing the two from the principle,formula and scope analysis.And the model was established by finite element analysis to simulate the distribution of fluid in the pipeline when the pipeline leaked under various working conditions.The two-dimensional pipeline model is determined and drawn by SOLIDWORKS software,meshed by ICEM software,and the finite element analysis model of this paper is established by FLUENT software to simulate the characteristics of transportation pipeline leakage under various working conditions.In this paper,four models of straight pipe,T-shaped pipe,elbow pipe and variable diameter are established,which are divided into two cases for comparative analysis from pressure cloud diagram,velocity cloud diagram,temperature cloud diagram,vector diagram and turbulent kinetic energy diagram.It is found that the leakage aperture is positive correlated with the pressure difference at the leakage port.The larger the diameter of the leakage port,the more the pressure drop in the tube and the greater the pressure difference formed outside the tube;There is a positive correlation with the leak rate.The larger the pore size,the faster the leak rate and the greater the leaked mass flow rate.The temperature at the leak port is negatively correlated with the leak rate.The greater the leak rate,the lower the temperature.The other is to simulate the change of fluid in the pipeline under different pressures under the same leakage aperture.It is found that the higher the input pressure,the greater the pressure difference between the inside and outside of the pipe at the leakage port,and the faster the leakage rate.Finally,build an experimental platform and design a data acquisition and processing system,simulate the gas leakage process,set up monitoring points,explore the influence of the inlet pressure on the pressure change at the leak hole,compare the experimental results with the simulation results and find that the two exist Certain errors,but within reasonable limits.In addition,the FLUENT software was used to simulate the location of different leak holes in the gas transportation pipeline,and the experimental platform was used to inject gas into the pipeline corresponding to the same leak location.The error between the two and the actual result is less than 3%,indicating that the FLUENT software simulation has engineering practicability to study the problem of pipeline leakage.
