Space weathering is an important role for the extensive development of the asteroid surface. It has an important impact on the remote sensing detection of asteroids. It is mainly caused by changes in spectral reflectance, absorption peak depth and continuum slope, which greatly affects remote sensing.Accurate interpretation of spectral data.Carbonaceous asteroids are the most primitive asteroids, rich in volatiles and organic matter, which preserves the original information of the material in the early formation of the solar nebula, and may be an important potential source of water and life on Earth. It has become a deep space exploration.Important goals. However, the effect of space weathering on the surface material of carbonaceous asteroids is very different from the known atmosphereless planetary modes such as the moon,Mercury, and S-type asteroids. The specific performance is as follows: after the weathering of some carbonaceous asteroids The spectral reflectance increases and the continuum slope decreases.Through the elimination of other factors,it was found that the water content / carbon content of carbonaceous asteroids plays an important role. The higher volatile content is very likely to inhibit the formation of elemental metal iron during the process of space weathering. The products of the micrometeorite bombardment have comprehensively caused the appearance of the spectral characteristics of the weathering of carbonaceous asteroids. The study selected 5 meteorites for pulse laser irradiation experiments, and the results can provide some reference and support for the determination of candidate targets for near-Earth asteroid exploration missions, the interpretation of spectral remote sensing data, and the inversion of surface matter evolution process.Selecting CO / CV carbonaceous chondrite as the main research object, using scanning electron microscopy and transmission electron microscopy to carry out an in-depth study on the types of water-containing altered minerals and the formation mechanism of characteristic altered minerals in meteorite samples. On this basis, combined with pulse laser bombardment simulation experiments, the effects of volatile content on space weathering before and after bombardment of iron-rich CO / CV-type carbonaceous chondrites and volatile-rich CM2 carbonaceous chondrite meteorite were investigated. The impact of the formation of nano-metallic iron in the process, and the combined effect on the remote sensing spectrum transformation of carbonaceous asteroids. For K-type asteroids,S-type asteroids, and C-type asteroids,np Fe0 plays a major role in darkening, redning the spectrum, and weakening absorption;the space weathering process of volatile C-type asteroids is controlled by aqueous organic matter and visible reflections The rate is higher and the near infrared slope is lower. This research provides reference and support for selecting suitable asteroids as targets in future near-Earth asteroid exploration missions, interpreting spectral remote sensing data, and understanding the evolution of surface material on asteroids.
