Wufenglou Tungsten Polymetallic mine is in the resource crisis within the east of Fujian province,though it is located at the intersection of the Mindu metallogenic belt in NE direction and the Shangrao-Pucheng-Ningde metallogenic belt in NW direction with great prospecting potential.On the basis of the collection of regional and geological research and mineral exploration data,and the construction of multi-dimensional geoinformation database of Wufenglou mining area,this work has supplemented to carry out the geophysical and geochemical exploration for the deep prospecting with the combination of the deposit geology survey.There are two aspects of achievement in the work for Wufenglou mining area,the construction of multi-dimensional information database and the mineral prospecting prediction as follows.1.Construction of the basic framework of multi-dimensional geoscience information database(referred to as The Database)for Wufenglou mining area to realize for data storage and management function.The Database is based on Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0 and Access,with the establishment of a visual database in respect to the mine GIS data characteristics.DAO(Data Access Objects),as a management model,has the supervision function for the mine local data.The visualization operation is realized for the multi-dimensional geoscience information and its textual figure in the mining area,and the vector diagrams of the mining area are analyzed and managed by means of Mapgis and ArcGIS.The Database is composed of regional geological research and exploration and prospecting module,mine geology and mine exploration and engineering module,special research module and prospecting prediction module.The original geoscience information data accumulated in the mineral exploration and mining process in the mining area and its vectorized diagrams are input into the Database according to the above module classification to establish a multi-dimensional information database of succession and interaction features.The multi-dimensional geoscience information data within the various modules of the Database can be dynamically managed.The database application is convenient to set up into the documentation file of technical information in time.The work efficiency is improved to avoid the exploration and geological research data loss for the technical personnel movement or the improper submitting procedure of geological data.It is also helpful to improve the secondary development of geological exploration data in historical accumulation,to reduce duplication of work quantity,and to improve the economic efficiency of mineral exploration.Based on the Database,the mine technical managers can inspect and check the technical information data and to carry out comprehensive geological research.2.The "geological drilling log system of multi-dimensional geoscience information"(one subsystem of the Database,hereinafter referred to as Drilling Log System)completed in this study is based on Mapgis SDK development environment and Microsoft Visual C + + software for the secondary development of Mapgis software.The Drilling Log System consists of the drillhole space location and the integrated geological data module,the image and picture data module,the geological and geophysical and geochemical exploration data module and the comprehensive research data module of the drillholes.The Drilling Log System can systematically record the drilling information,which is convenient for the technical management department to inspect and check the data.It is prevented from the shortage of the geological information of the traditional drilling log and the loss and distortion of the geological information due to the errors of the drilling recorders.The loss of geoscience information is alleviated to be in a lower degree because of the lost of dill core.The Drilling Log System can not only output the specification of the original geological log diagram of drillholes in standard,but also can output a full range of multi-dimensional geoscience information histogram of drillhole(A0 format map).3.Regional granite magma activity in Wufenglou mining area is concentrated in Yanshan period(granite porphyry rock formation age: 76-120 Ma,granitic rocks of volcanic eruption age: 93.5-156Ma).The temporal and spatial distribution feature of mineralization age of W-Mo polymetallic deposits in Fujian province is that tungsten and molybdenum mineralization age is 165 ~ 102 Ma in the west and 113 ~ 92 Ma in the east of Fujian province individually.The temporal and spatial distribution of magmatic rock and mineralization age has the varying regularity to be younger from the west to the east of Fujian.It is indicated that there might be a close genetic relationship between W-Mo polymetallic mineralization and magmatic activity at Yanshan period in Fujian.In Wufenglou mining area,the metal deposit distribution is related to the space distribution of granite mass of Yanshan period(porphyritic granite of Late Cretaceous in Gaolu unit,porphyritic granite of the early Cretaceous in Xiaxiaomen unit).There are three typical kinds of metal deposits in the metallogenic belt on the location of mining area.(1)Chilu molybdenum deposit in Fuan,and Xicao molybdenum deposit in Gutian are the representative of molybdenum polymetallic porphyry deposits of volcano hydrothermal genesis.(2)Shangfang tungsten(molybdenum)deposit in Jianou is the representative of skarn deposit of magmatic hydrothermal contact metasomatic genesis.(3)Dawan beryllium molybdenum deposit in Xiapu is related to the late Jurassic Early Cretaceous volcano activities with metasomatism filling genesis of volcanic hydrothermal fluid in high-middle temperature.There are two genetic types of metal deposits within Wu Feng Lou mining area as follows.(1)The first one includes three porphyry copper and molybdenum deposits with subvolcanic hydrothermal fluid genesis in Dongshan-Qin Tai Qiu,Xianweiling and Tangxiashan.(2)The other type includes tungsten polymetallic deposits of skarn type of the magmatic hydrothermal contact metasomatic genesis as the representative is Wufenglou and Xiange deposit in the south and north contact zone of porphyritic granite on the location of Xiaomeng unit.Therefore,Wufenglou mining area is essentially called as the ore field of tungsten polymetallic deposits in Wufenglou district.4.For an example of Wufenglou deposit,with the platform of the multi-dimensional geoscience information database of Wufenglou mine,by the combination of the means of geophysical and geochemical exploration survey,this article has carried out the exploration and prospecting prediction in Wufenglou mining area.Exploration target area I and II are determined out in the east and northwest of Wufenglou mine for the future work.
