Experiments are mainly to explore the relationship between the initial wa ter content and porosity of porous media with apparent resistivity, and then su mmarize the two parameters of porous media and apparent resistivity of the la w.Experiments use the Wenner method, detection the relationship between the drop volume of trichloroethylene with the apparent resistivity of the porous me dium, until the porous medium initial water content is constant,At the same ti me,the porosity of porous media and the apparent resistivity of the medium c an be obtained. In order to understand the process and regularity of solute mig ration in aquifer,a two-dimensional sand trough model is established in this pa per and the NaCl solution is represented for monitoring the solute transport pr ocess by resistivity imaging. We can obtain that by experiment:when the initial water content of porous is the same but the porosity of porous media, the apparent resistivity of sampl es with large porosity are big. With continuing to drip trichloroethlene,,the rate of resistance parameter changes slowly.Through the experiment also learning t hat with the increase of trichloroethylene saturation in porous media, the appare nt resistivity is gradually raised, and keep changes in a fixed range finally. The purpose of the Experiment is to study the influence of water content and por osity on resistivity of porous media.Test method is the four pole method, usin g quartz sand with different porosity,in order to detect the resistance of differ ent porosity corresponding to different water content.According to the experim ental data, the quartz sand samples with the same porosity with the increase of the water content, the apparent resistivity gradually decreased; After the water content of the sample is more than 16%,the effect of porosity on the resistiv ity of quartz sand sample is decreased The rate of resistance varies is great when the water content is low,and the rate of resistance is gradually decreasi ng with the increase of water content. When the water content of quartz sand s amples with different porosity is the same, the corresponding resistivity of the test samples with large porosity is larger. The experimental results show that t he NaCl solution moves forward in the direction of the water flow in the stea dy flow;At the same time,in the vertical direction, mainly by the hydrodyna mic dispersion and the role of gravity gradually diffuse downward with the tes t.The low resistance region moves faster than the vertical infiltration rate alon g the flow direction. The resistivity image can clearly see the migration process of brackish interface, proved that the application of resistivity tomography is e ffective in monitoring solute transport and provides a newvisualization method for the study of solute transport in groundwater, which lays the foundation for the determination of the velocity and hydrodynamic dispersion coefficientof gr oundwater.
