Since the beginning of the 21 st century,the comprehensive national strength of each country is continuously enhanced,but the economic development is inseparable from energy resources.With the gradual reduction of the traditional fossil energy-oil,coal and natural gas reserves,the contradiction between economic development and energy shortage has become increasingly prominent.Green renewable energy is inexhaustible and there is no secondary pollution when used.It is an ideal clean energy source.As a kind of ocean energy,wave energy has the advantages of high energy density,no pollution and wide distribution.At present,relevant research on wave energy utilization has gradually become the development focus of various countries.Based on the current development of wave energy technology,a seesaw shaped floating Wave Energy Converter(WEC)based on roll motion is proposed.The main research work includes:First,the working principle and structural composition of the seesaw shaped floating wave energy converter is introduced.The device composed of a wave-capturing floating body and a vertical damping plate deep into water.The wave-capturing floating body is swayed under the action of the waves,and the damping plate is in a relatively static state as a reference body.The device absorbs the energy of the relative motion of the two organizations,the energy absorbed here is mainly the energy of the roll motion.The other organizations in the device will roll with the wave-capturing floating body and then the energy is converted into electricity.Secondly,according to the working principle of the device,combined with the principle of seakeeping,the roll motion equation of the device is established to analysis the motion characteristics of the device.Hydrodynamic simulation of the device's wave-capturing body is carried out by using CFD software STAR-CCM+.The process of establishing a numerical pool is briefly described.The motion response and load of the device under different wave parameters are studied.Change the period and amplitude of the wave separately to calculate and obtain the optimal wave frequency.By changing the parameters of the device and studying the influence of relevant parameters on the motion and power of the device's wave-capturing floating body,the optimal operating conditions parameters are obtained.Finally,according to the results of hydrodynamic simulation,a small-scale principle prototype was designed and manufactured to verify the working feasibility of the device.A small-scale experimental prototypes and a waterless test bench was built to carry out wave simulation experiments and collect relevant data.Multiple sets of experiments were carried out by changing the wave parameters.The experiment shows that the maximum power of the device increases with the increase of the wave amplitude.It turns out that the seesaw wave power generation device has a certain power generation capacity under the action of waves.
