Geological structure is an important factor affecting mine water disaster. Most of mine water inrush is related to geological structure. In this study, through the discussion of the structural movement and structural development law experienced in the study area, the control effect of the structure on the water filling of the mine is studied, and through the analysis of the hydraulic connection between the aquifers, the degree of the threat of the water damage of the roof and floor of each coal seam is predicted and evaluated. The main achievements are as follows:(1)Ordovician and Carboniferous-Triassic are well-exposed in the Taihang mining area. The overall structural form of the minefield is a monoclinic, southeast dip, northwest trend with an dip angle of 10-20°,generally around 16°.The fault structure is relatively developed, and the structural complexity is moderate. The evolution of geological structure in the study area can be divided into three main stages:basement formation, caprock development and intense activity.(2)Based on the regional hydrogeological characteristics, clustering analysis and Bayesian discrimination, the hydraulic relations of each aquifer are analyzed. The main aquifers in the area are Quaternary gravel layer,Shihezi sandstone aquifer,No.2coal roof sandstone aquifer,Taiyuan limestone(Yeqing,Fuqing,Daqing)aquifer,Ordovician limestone aquifer and magmatic rock aquifer from top to bottom. The results of cluster analysis and Bayes analysis show that the fracture water of coal measure clastic rock in the Taihang mining area is independent, which is not related to the overlying Cenozoic loose pore water and the underlying Ordovician karst fracture water.(3)The distribution characteristics of groundwater in the Taihang coal mine are mainly controlled by different levels of fault structures. The scale, development degree and lithology of faults in the area have great influence on the mine structure.Due to the influence of burial depth, fault structure and magmatic rock, the water yield and water quality of Ordovician limestone in different sections of the area are quite different. Therefore, the study can be divided into three different levels of hydrogeological areas:high-water-rich area;medium-water-rich area;low-water-rich area.(4)According to the data of the Taihang mining area, using the calculation results of specific coagulation method and unit water inflow method, the normal water inflow of the-400m level in the Taihang mining area is 247m~3/h,and the maximum water inflow is 493m~3/h.Combined with the comparative analysis of many adjacent mines, the predicted water inflow of this mine is of high reliability. There are 20 figures,6 tables and 107 references in this paper.
