The southeastern part of Guangxi has a superior geographical position and rich mineral resources. It is a famous hometown of non-ferrous metals in Guangxi, with gold, lead, zinc and tungsten tin as the main deposits.Among them, the rocky base of the Darongshan-Shiwan Dashan area in southeastern Guangxi accounts for 50% of the total granite in Guangxi. The predecessors systematically studied this set of rock foundations, but lacked the close relationship with mineralization.Research on old basement formations. In this study, the basement strata and the exposed magmatic rocks in the Luchuan area of the Darongshan-Shiwandashan area and its surrounding Yunkai block were selected as the research objects,By sampling the system of the study area, the characteristics of geochemical elements such as major elements, trace elements(including rare earth elements)and hydrocarbon components are analyzed, and the combination of characteristic elements and coefficient of variation of each region are combined to find out the old base strata in each region. With the relationship between mineralization in the region, the following conclusions are drawn:1.There is a correlation between the old basement strata in different sections of the Darongshan— Shiwandashan area in southeastern Guangxi and the corresponding minerals.2.The superposition coefficient of the three regions shows that the Darongshan area is weakly affected by magma. The situation of the Shiwandashan Dashan area is similar to that of the Dayongshan area, and the degree of influence by the regional metamorphism is not large, and the degree of superposition of the Luchuan area is small.Higher, strongly affected by magma and regional metamorphism. At the same time, the Ordovician strata in the Darongshan area and the Silurian strata in the Shiwandashan area are still in the initial ore-stratification stage. The Yunkai strata in the Luchuan area are in the stage of evolution from the original source layer to the source-rich layer.3.There are differences in elemental characteristics and element combinations of the old basement strata in different regions.Among them, the Danyashan area is a combination of Pb,Cr,Sn and Ti elements;the Shiwandashan is a combination of Pb,W,Sn and Bi elements, and the Luchuan area is Pb.The combination of W,Sn,Co,and Bi elements shows that there are differences in the sources of ore-forming materials in different regions.4.The trend curves of hydrocarbon composition changes in the old basement strata in the three regions are consistent, showing that the formation environment of the old basement strata in the three regions is similar, but the total hydrocarbon content in the Luchuan area is the highest in the content, and the Luchuan area is predicted to be activated by magmatism.5.Influenced by the combination of ore-forming elements, transformation strength and magmatic activity of the basal strata, there are differences in the types of deposits and mineralization scales in the southeastern part of Guangxi, and the Datongshan area is mainly dominated by lead-zinc deposits.Manganese ore also has certain potential, but the scale is small;the Shiwandashan area is mainly dominated by tungsten—tin ore and associated antimony ore,and the scale is relatively small;the mineralization of the liuwandashan area is mainly lead, zinc and silver, and the scale is also relatively large.Small,Luchuan area is dominated by tungsten-rhenium ore,lead-zinc ore,gold-silver ore, with the potential to form part of medium-large deposits, and is consistent with the type and scale of deposits currently discovered.
