Since the reform and opening up,China's economic level has rapidly increased,and its per capita GDP has continued to rise.But it is worth noting that although China's economic aggregate has leapt to the forefront of the world,the GDP growth rate has continued to decline in recent years,only 6.57% in 2018,and the economic growth rate is slow.Therefore,it is an effective way to implement innovative strategies to stimulate economic growth.At the same time,long-term economic unreasonable extensive development has paid a great price,and environmental pollution problems are prominent.Xi Jinping pointed out that in order to promote high-quality economic development,green development must be the top priority,which is also the fundamental requirement for solving the pollution problem.Therefore,while emphasizing the promotion of innovation and development of industrial enterprises and improving the efficiency of enterprise innovation,we should also consider environmental issues.Combining the ecological environment with the innovative development of industrial enterprises and taking a sustainable path of green development.At the same time,with the implementation of the innovation strategy,an appropriate intellectual property protection system is also essential.More and more countries have formulated and implemented intellectual property strategies,and the role of intellectual property rights in international economic competition is becoming increasingly important.So at this stage,how does the level of intellectual property protection in China affect the efficiency of green innovation? Is there a non-linear relationship between the two? How is the adjustment of human capital and other influencing factors in the impact of intellectual property protection on green innovation efficiency of industrial enterprises? Under this background,this paper uses the spatial panel model analysis on the basis of measuring the level of intellectual property protection and the green innovation efficiency of industrial enterprises.The relationship between the protection of intellectual property rights and the efficiency of green innovation in China's industrial enterprises.In terms of research content,this paper first reviews related literatures such as green innovation efficiency and its space spillover,and deeply analyzes the research theories such as the relationship between intellectual property protection and green innovation efficiency.Activities,analyze the mechanism of the impact of green innovation efficiency,and examine the impact of intellectual property protection on the efficiency of green innovation in industrial enterprises.Secondly,by collecting relevant data of China's industrial enterprises above designated size from 2008 to 2017,using the super-efficiency DEA model,the green innovation efficiency of China's industrial enterprises is measured.And analyze the change trend of green innovation efficiency of China's industrial enterprises from the overall and sub-regional level.Next,by constructing a spatial panel model,an empirical analysis of the relationship between intellectual property protection and the efficiency of green innovation in industrial enterprises.Firstly,through direct,indirect and total effects,we analyze the influence of control variables such as intellectual property protection,human capital,and the degree of openness on the green innovation efficiency of industrial enterprises in the region and neighboring regions,as well as the relationship between the average impact on green innovation efficiency.Then we introduce the model of the square term of intellectual property protection and the cross-term of intellectual property protection and other control variables to analyze the non-linear relationship between intellectual property protection and the green innovation efficiency of industrial enterprises and the adjustment effect of control variables on the two.The main conclusions of this article are as follows: First,the overall efficiency level of green innovation in industrial enterprises is low,and the growth rate is slow.Regional differences are obvious.The efficiency of industrial enterprises in the eastern region is the highest,while that in the central and western regions is low.Second,the protection of intellectual property rights has a significant promotion effect on the green innovation efficiency of industrial enterprises in the region and the green innovation efficiency of industrial enterprises,but it has no significant positive impact on neighboring regions.Third,the impact of intellectual property protection on green innovation efficiency presents a "U" shaped nonlinear relationship,and the inflection point is when the intellectual property protection level is 3.128.That is,when the level of intellectual property protection is greater than 0 and less than 3.128,it inhibits the improvement of green innovation efficiency;conversely,when it is greater than 3.128,it promotes the improvement of green innovation efficiency.Except for Guizhou,Yunnan,Gansu in 2008 and Guizhou's 2009 intellectual property protection level was lower than this threshold,the remaining provinces are greater than this threshold during the inspection period.Moreover,human capital,the degree of opening to the outside world,and the structure of property rights all negatively affect the impact of intellectual property protection on green innovation efficiency,but this negative effect is not obvious.Entrepreneurship positively affects the impact of intellectual property protection on the efficiency of green innovation,and the effect is significant.
